This really is my favorite protein shake. It has good clean ingredients and tastes good. I use it for to satisfy my afternoon sweetness craving in a healthier way and it fills me up nicely. I love that I can get it in bulk and in powder form because it reduces the waste and makes it easier to travel with. I am often sensitive to the whey proteins but this seems to digest really easy. I don't think I have ever seen a clump in it. The scoopers can be a little messy to use, but I appreciate the wide mouth on the container. Solid product

I paid full price for this item in a store and decided that I didn't like the taste; however, it was clumping in my drink. Since I really needed the clean protein without fat, extra sugar, or other additives, when I saw that this product was half the price on Amazon, I decided to try it again. YEA! I use it with my fiber cereal, Greek yogurt, and Almond Milk. I stir it myself and the taste blends well with the other products. I sometimes use 1 scoop instead of 2 because it has 36 grams of protein in two scoops. It does have a good vanilla flavor. I put it on Subscribe and Save and get even more of a discount. I have searched and bought different Protein Powders and this one has the best ingredients!

I've tried many of these powders in my lifetime and usually ended up very disappointed with some kind of chalky, gritty, thick swill with an horrible aftertaste. I've been using OWYN for 4 months now and I'm very pleased. I have *only* mixed it with water. The chocolate flavor dissolves so completely it's almost like drinking water that tastes a bit like chocolate. As far as health benefits... I can't really comment. Typically it can take 6 months to 1 year of taking supplemental nutrition products before one starts noticing little things (that's why people get so impatient with supplements and opt for dangerous OTC products). This product does not make me feel like I've eaten a meal or anything like that, in fact, sometimes I'm more hungry after using it. I do have to admit I feel a bit more energy after drinking this. I've never experienced clumps or anything like that when mixing it but, again, I only use water. The sweetness from the monk fruit seems just right for me and I don't feel like this product raises my blood sugar. I'm pretty happy so far and plan to continue buying. I prefer the taste of the vanilla over the chocolate, but the vanilla gets *very* foamy when mixing for some reason and seems to be thicker so I'll stick with the chocolate.

I don’t know what’s happened over the last few months, I don’t know if the original owners sold the company. I don’t know if they’re just trying to cut costs, but the formula/recipe has changed drastically. This has been my favorite protein powder for probably a year or so now. I used to exclusively buy the cookies and cream flavor then suddenly it disappeared and you couldn’t get it anymore so I switched to the chocolate. The last container of chocolate that I bought was a very different texture Compared to the product I was used to getting. That was already setting off alarm bells and I started to worry that I was gonna have to go through the process of finding a decent protein powder again. My mom gave me a container of vanilla because she had bought it for my brother trying to help him improve his health and he doesn’t wanna do that lol 🤦🏻‍♀️ so she gave it to me. The vanilla texture was great just like the chocolate used to be so I was hoping against all hope that it was just a change with the chocolate recipe but then I was disappointed to see with my most recent purchase of vanilla that it too Has become sandy and grainy and it’s impossible to get rid of The clumps And lumps in it. Because I don’t like to drink my meals, I have been consistently making protein pancakes with this protein powder for the entirety of my purchase history with them and it’s always made amazing pancakes and the pancake batter is always super smooth, Now it’s absolutely awful. And it’s not just the batter that’s coming out awful, the end product, my pancakes now are falling apart. The texture is completely un appetizing and It doesn’t matter how much binder (egg, pumpkin purée, etc) you put in there, They are grainy, sandy and Fall apart at the first hint of Maple syrup. you can’t even get a piece up on a fork because it just disintegrates. I can’t imagine trying to drink this as a protein shake because of how awful the texture is. you would think that maybe baking it or cooking with it would reduce the texture problems, but unfortunately, that is not so. At this point, I don’t see that there’s any use for this protein powder… Well, there’s no enjoyable use for it. Very sad to have to start all over finding protein powder that meets my dietary needs and taste needs. They had something so good, now they don’t even have a product worth selling. so if the changes were made in an effort to cut costs, well, now I doubt they’ll have anything to make money off of 👎

this is probably one of the best plant-based proteins I have personally ever used. it tastes absolutely amazing to me, so much so that I don't think a non plant-based person would know off the taste alone that Owyn that it is plant-based. I really like that it's vegan, non-gmo and that the ingredients, as far as I can tell, are clean. I've never felt bad using this product, physically or mentally. I can firmly recommend this product for quality and taste!

The taste was good, not the best I've had but it was good. It blends up nicely. I would buy this product again, except for the packaging. I knew how many serving I was getting, and I know it is sold by weight not volume. But I felt shocked and indignant when I saw the size of the plastic container it came in, compared to the amount of product in the container. It was less then half full. It makes me mad. I don't want to store the little bit of powder in my cupboard in that huge container. Not to mention the huge waste of plastic. This company is supposed to be all about not giving us what we don't need and then sends it in a huge oversized plastic container. I will attach pictures of the container when I first opened it. I will not buy this again unless they change their packaging.
