L'Oreal Paris Double Extend Beauty Tubes Mascara, Black, 0.33 Ounces

If you’re someone who ends up with their mascara under their eyes then this is for you! It’s my regular go to mascara. It’s not as thick as normal mascara but I layer it on top of the primer, or a standard black mascara and it lasts without one teeny tiny smudge! Easy and clean to remove - by wetting and gently pulling the “tubes” off.

Very good mascara. Make my eyelashes so pretty and long.

Firstly the positive points: This mascara does give the appearance of thicker/longer lashes and it doesn't smudge. If you rub your eyes with it on, it still doesn't smudge - it simply kind of peels off, like a snake shedding its skin so that you have tiny lengths of plastic-y stuff that you can just brush away! It lasts all day and is easily removed with face wash. Oh - and it arrived super-quickly, which was good. The negative points: It's a bit clumpy (if it had been ordinary mascara I would have said that it was old stock, because it seemed a bit dry and lumpy, but as it's the first time I've used it I don't know whether this is normal) and so is difficult to apply evenly. And it's a bit of a faff to apply, with the white followed by the black, but I suppose that's the price you pay for trying to make yourself beautiful!! And I'm not sure about the 'nourishing' claim - I haven't noticed any difference in the state of my eyelashes since I've been using it. Still, I think I WILL be buying another tube when this one runs out - if the new tube turns out to have smooth, rather than dryish-lumpy content then I'd say this product is absolutely perfect and give it it its full 5 stars!

I whole heartedly recommend this product if you are looking for a tubing mascara that really exaggerates your lashes, is easily removed and doesn’t smudge. I really did my research before purchasing as I had ditched lash extensions after a few years, which was a big step as my fellow lash ladies will know! My research led me to tubing mascaras and because I wanted a primer (a mascara-must in my opinion), this seemed the perfect option. At first, I found it a touch clumpy but I think that’s where I had stubby lashes following years of the extensions. When I say clumpy, I would like to clarify I personally didn’t find the formula dry or lumpy (as per other reviews) - infact, quite the opposite, they ended up sticking together initially. However, within a couple of weeks, once my lashes recovered and grew - I figured out the best technique for application and I knew I’d hit the mascara jackpot! My advise for application is as follows: *Ensure your mirror is placed slightly under your chin and tilt your head back as far as possible but look down at the mirror. *Take the primer end and slowly blink onto the brush once or twice whilst sweeping the primer to coat the lashes. Do not overload the lashes during this process. It is totally not necessary with this type of formula. *Don’t dip back - go straight to your other eye and repeat. *Repeat the above steps with the mascara end. *DONT wait for the primer to dry. *DONT wiggle the wand upon application to seperate lashes (this just creates a clumpy mess). Before I had lash extensions, I had searched high and low for a suitable mascara that didn’t smudge on me. I tried so many and because I have extremely oily skin, by lunch time someone would be telling me to check my mascara as it would have printed on my upper lid. This mascara has only done this once or twice during the summer heat wave, but I feel for most people this won’t be an issue. I wanted to note this for the oily lid ladies out there! For removal, apply a warm and wet microfibre makeup removing ‘cookie’ and hold it over the lids for 30 seconds. Gently wipe away in a downward motion - do not scrub the eye lashes as you will damage your lashes. You will see the mascara begin to ‘shed’. This is totally normal for a tubing mascara. This mascara is brilliant, it doesn’t leave dark marks around your eyes

I had to give this product 1 star to post the review, but its not even worth half a star. In comparison to other tubing mascaras I've tried this is the worst AND the most expensive. It barely coats the lashes at all, and whatever product is on the lashes comes off after a few hours. I bought this because I thought it would be like the their Double Extension Waterproof Mascara but in tubes formula which I prefer as its easy to get off, its not. Its also at least 25% smaller than their regular double extension mascaras. Very disappointing L'Oréal!

I’ve been using this product for years. Thickens eyelashes and lovely black finish. Very easy to remove with warm water as the white first coat is like a wax. Seems to be good for your eyelashes too.
