Big fan of the old school classic Cup Tree, we have so many cups in our cupboard but we tend to use the same few so having this next to the kettle in the kitchen means we do not have to go far to find our favourite mug for a good cup of tea. Minimal assembly required, this is set up out of the box in only a few minutes and it just looks great with a neutral colour that will suit any kitchen. Price is fair and affordable and is just a great addition to any kitchen in my opinion.

This isn't a top quality mug tree, and to my way of thinking is a bit overpriced at £14.99. The mug tree comes flat packed. It's wooden (and fairly lightweight, so made from a low density wood, but not hollow - the centre section is almost like a piece of traditiona, wooden, broom handle), with metal fixings and needs to be screwed together.The upright, with four fixed branches attaches to the base, and then the four remaining branches, set at right angles to the first four. The pieces have screw threads connected to them and just twist together, needing no tools. I say ‘just’, a couple of the threads on mine were a bit rough and needed some finessing.With 8 branches, this is quite a tall mug tree. The finish isn't amazing. Everything is very blunt and simply cut, but not particularly well sanded. Not splintery, just a little rough feeling to touch. It's not angular enough to look stylish, it just looks basic. This is finished with a very dark brown matte paint. It's just thin enough to still be able to see some of the wood grain through, but not a particularly nice colour. The base is a simply finished piece of wood, painted all over (even the underside) and with nothing like felt, foam, or silicone pads to prevent this from marking the surface under it.There's good height and spacing to all of the branches - on our old, 6 mug trees, the bottom layers are set so low that even small-sized, quarter pint mugs touch the worktop, and end up falling off - this can hold 8 normal-sized mugs without problem.

The media could not be loaded. Product description is misleading. This is made of hollow wood where none of the self-screw “branches” of the mug tree attach as they should. Pilot hole to connect main pole to the base was drilled too large that it wobbles and breaks off the base. We will need to use wood glue for all pieces and parts. Not at all stable for any purpose because the hanging parts fall out. Product arrived unusable.

Ich benutze den Tassenbaum nun knapp eine Woche und muss sagen, dass ich vollstens zufrieden bin. Es kommt alles sicher verpackt an, lediglich ein kleiner Kratzer an einem Gewinde war sichtbar. Jedoch wurde dieses dann beim Aufbau sofort verdeckt, somit spielt es keine weitere Rolle.Man kann tatsächlich an alle 8 Äste eine Tasse hängen, auch wenn diese dann teils minimale Berührung untereinander haben. Dies sollte aber nicht weiter stören, wenn man nicht gerade die Waschmaschine als Untergrund verwendet und den Baum durchschüttelt.Die Farbe, die einige hier als sehr unangenehmes dunkles braun beschreiben, kann ich so nicht bestätigen. Es ist ein tiefes Schwarz ohne Farbstich. Gefällt mir sehr und passt super in meine schwarze Küche.

Der Ständer kam gut verpackt an.Geliefert wird ein Tassenständer in schwarz. Er muss erst zusammen gesteckt werden, aber das geht echt leicht. Der Tassenständer ist sehr stabil und sieht schick aus und ist super platzsparend. Ich bin sehr zufrieden.
