Nobody will ever confuse these for real metal Academy Awards, they are sort of cheapy plastic, but they are shiny and great for a gag! I ran out some name labels and attached them to the bases and made some people very happy. Big enough to be presented properly, but not ostentatious. Not keepsake quality, but definitely good value for what they cost.

These are really fun substitute awards that I use at a film festival to present for on-the-spot Audience Choice winners. After knowing the winner, I get the real award engraved, but this is something fun to present as a place holder until they get the real thing. They're lightweight, but they look nice.

I really like these statues and I will use them on my fireplace mantle on Oscar Sunday. i also bought battery star lights to put with them. I’m glad I bought the 10” statues. Good quality.
