I have been using the VILVA Portable Monitor 14-inch FHD (1920 × 1200) for over a year now, and it has honestly been one of the best tech purchases I’ve made. The biggest advantage for me is portability. The monitor is incredibly slim and lightweight — it fits easily into my handbag or backpack without adding bulk. I travel frequently and used to pay for extra luggage just to carry an additional monitor for productivity. Since getting this monitor, that is no longer necessary. It has made traveling and working on the go so much easier and more efficient. Another feature I absolutely love is the plug-and-play functionality. Setup is effortless. I simply connect it using a Type-C cable, and it works immediately — no complicated installation, drivers, or special cords needed. I also appreciate that it comes with additional cables for devices that use other port types, which makes it very versatile. The display quality is crisp, bright, and perfect for multitasking, research work, and presentations. It has been reliable, durable, and consistently performs well. Overall, this monitor has significantly improved my productivity, especially while traveling. I would highly recommend it to students, professionals, researchers, or anyone who needs a dependable and truly portable second screen.

This is a review for the 14'' unit, see photos attached. This is a very well built monitor, premium quality at this price point. It looks and feels expensive. I use a HP laptop and this display is pretty close to its quality. I noticed a bit of play on the magnetic stand which broke my heart but I reversed its position and the magnets were able to lock on more firmly. I like that the bezels on this unit are relatively thin, see the last photo (apologies for my greasy paws), sound quality is a bit shrill but if you bought this to replace your speakers then this review isn't for you. Its plug and play, the magnetic stand placement is a bit tricky, please refer to the manual. Its thin, portable and significantly improves productivity. I been contemplating purchasing a travel monitor and this one was within my budget for the deal they have at $40. It’s slim and lightweight I was able to pack it in my travel backpack with my HP Probook laptop. The screen is clear and it was simple to install. I read the reviews and one recommended to use the double end C cords, not the USB end to connect the laptop and monitor. Turned on right away without rebooting. The monitor powers with your laptop. So far so good, I recommended it to my BFF too!

When my 2-yr-old laptop fell off my bed and the touch screen was smashed, I was lost. What was I going to do with all the data on my hard-drive? After getting quite upset and learning it'll cost me between 1 and 2 hundred bucks for a new one touch screen - even though I could replace it and save some money - it was still a lot. I did some research and figured I'd buy a monitor but I didn't know they sold monitors like this until looking through Amazon. This monitor was the exact size of the OEM and I figured that it would work just fine for me. Shipping was quick and it was packaged VERY well and secure. I didn't know it came with a mini-HDMI to HDMI cable and power cord, but was surprised to learn they were in the box. It couldn't have been easier to hook everything up (they included easy to follow animated directions) and after handling that business I flipped the switch - BOOM - my laptop was back! I could do everything I used to do - except no touch screen! Clearly, this was my fault. They do make monitors that are touch screen, but I didn't order one of those, I got this guy! Resolution isn't the same as my OEM monitor and the colors aren't as sharp, but it works. Everything is VERY easy to setup and get rolling. Use the included HDMI to mini HDMI cable and plug the HDMI side into my laptop and the mini-HDMI to the monitor and then a USB-C power cord to the monitor. All is great and the monitor works well. I was even able to hook up and connect DeX from my Galaxy smartphone to the monitor. VERY easy to do by hooking up a usb-C to mini HDMI cable (not included) to monitor and I was off and rolling. THAT is a cool feature! I'm happy to recommend this monitor - it's solid for the price and will get the job done. It's certainly not a high-priced - high resolution monitor, but it's capable of getting your laptop up and running. Or - connecting your XBox Series X to as well. (Tried that, and it works.) Purchased as gift for my daughter to use when working at home with laptop. It was easy to install and great quality! Would recommend anyone who uses a laptop that works from home with research and data entry needing extra screen to purchase this monitor.

Absolutely love this! It was super affordable, works amazingly snd even has speakers! It hooked up to my son's laptop just by plugging it in and restarting. No issues at all and he's using it as his 2nd monitor to watch his live classes for online school. Highly recommend !

This item is not HDR. It does not appear to be 1080P. I suspect it is not OLED. I have tried it with multiple devices and none see it as HDR. On 1080P, pixels do not line up properly. Avoid this product at all costs.

Good for the price point! Was incredibly easy to set up, has all the necessary parts. The screen is only 1080p, I'm not sure how much I would enjoy gaming on it. But I believe it is excellent for work. I love how light and portable it is, I can imagine taking this with me if I'm ever doing remote work or heading to a co-working space.

Works as advertised. Colour accuracy and sRGB coverage is quite poor, and enabling HDR causes significant colour banding. Otherwise, good value for money we'll see how long it lasts

Needed it for convenience to refer to and type out different docs. Bought it a couple months ago when on sale and despite the negative reviews about it, works just fine. It needs to be powered via usb c adapter or one of your pc’s usb c ports. If not, it goes blank into power saving mode. The stand is a bit flimsy but is stable if you pull the cut out tab to rest on the top and bottom edge of the cut out. (Don’t know if this makes sense but you’ll figure it out. Don’t break it though). Got another 2 units too at the last sale. Comes ready to run out of the box with the necessary cables for hdmi to mini hdmi and usb C to usb C.
