The repair would not have been from shipping but from manufacturing. Also it was missing an i.portant nut and washer.

Assembly was pretty easy, by following the video guide. The bench I ordered was missing a short bar that goes on the head support arm. The bench still works without it. I think the missing bar is for the user to hold on if needed. Really, impressed with the stretching. I had a pop in my spine the first time I used it. Spine was feeling really good after using body more relaxed. I have been using it daily for about 5 - 10 min sessions. The crank needs a serious upgrade. It becomes difficult to turn at higher tension and needed someone to turn for me.

I want to start by saying that the most joy I received from this product was when I packed it up for return. First, I would like to say that this, at first glance, is a great idea. Problematic for this product, though, is that it is built for someone who is shorter, light weight, and who does not have neck/back/hip issues. It feels like the company forgot who would be buying this product. i am not very tall (5'9") and weigh around 230 pounds. To get on this is awkward because it sets up only a few inches from the floor. Once you are on the equipment, it is tedious and difficult reaching the small handle to extend the equipment for a stretch. Moreover, if you do not have a small head, you will not be able to fit your head into the headgear for a good stretch of the neck. If you are a bigger person with hip or neck pain, this is not for you. More effort in research and development would've gone a long way to making an exceptional product. It is a great concept but the execution is modest at best.I would also like point out that the equipment that I received was also a prior return. I understand that the company produces these things for a profit and the bottom line is important. That said, it communicates a lack of respect for the consumer when the packaging is falling apart and all the contents spill out once opened. I could figure out how to assemble the equipment but, again, it would behoove the company to offer a discount on returned items instead of trying to pass it off as "new".

I use this about 3x/wk. to separate my vertebrae. I've been feeling much better . Light enough to move out of the way.
