Fraudulently sent used hearing aids, and they have horrible audio quality.
I'd have given the vendor a -1, if I could have. They sent me USED aids, and they weren't only used, they're junk. I already wear OTC aids, and have for years, so I know how they should sound and work. These sound like you're in the bottom of a steel drum -- lows are over-amplified and LATE, highs are barely amplified at all, and the whole experience is like being in an echo chamber -- NOT 'feedback'; I know about that. This is 'digital signal processing' gone very, very wrong! Avoid at all costs!

Great Value!
Purchased these for my dad who is hard of hearing. He always loses his pair of hearing aids and figured it would be a great idea to have an extra set around the house and these were a great choice. My dad said that they are comfortable and the size fits well in his ears. These are definitely a great value for the price.

Really wanted to like them
I ordered these because they had a coupon that knocked almost $20 off the price and needed something basic. I think the ones I received were defective, the left one doesn't seem to have a functioning volume and squeals a lot. The sound quality is pretty terrible. I think they're defective. It sounds like constant little wispers, I don't hear were someone is talking to me but I hear every othet little sound but it echos and squeals.

Not what expected
I don't have a severe hearing imparity, which this device may be beneficial, but I have a really hard difficulty to hear conversations when there are loud noises around, such as on a restaurant, bar, networking event, etc. The UnionMed Hearing Aids basically is an amplifier. It does amplify sounds and does filter the sound spectrum probably from 500Hz to 1kHz (this is my guess). This spectrum is the vocal spectrum which is great, but it does amplify any other sound in the spectrum as well. I was expecting a noise isolation device and conversation focused. I believe there are other devices that do that, but not this one. Pros: Powerful Amplification: Across the board, the UnionMed device significantly amplify sound. Anything around you will be amplified and somewhat filtered. Clear Sound for Speech: While some ambient sounds are amplified to a distracting degree, the speech clarity is good. Comfortable and Discreet: The in-ear design is comfortable for all-day wear and discreet enough to be worn unnoticed. I have not wore it for more than an hour though. Easy to Use: Simple volume control and automatic on/off functionality make these amplifiers user-friendly, especially for seniors. Just drop them in the case which has a battery and those will be charged. You do need to charge the case as well or just leave the case charging, permanently. Cons: Overly Sensitive to Ambient Noise: The amplification of background noises like dishes clinking and car signals is excessively loud and distracting, even at lower volume settings. Lack of Customization: The absence of sound filters or modes means you can't adjust the amplification for different environments or specific frequency loss. This is VERY important. No App Control: The lack of app integration limits your ability to fine-tune the listening experience. Overall: The UnionMed offer powerful amplification and decent clarity for speech at an affordable price point. However, the lack of customization options and their tendency to amplify all sounds indiscriminately may be a deal-breaker for some users, which is my case.

It's a hearing ampifier
I wouldn't call this a hearing aid as that implies something more sophisticated. This seems to me to be a hearing amplifier. It really amplifies the sounds. So much that I had to turn it wayyyyyy down, nearly off to even tolerate the sound levels. It comes set at about 50% but that is not usable for me. I turned it to half of that (so 25% volume) and it was still way too loud. I ended up adjusting it 2 or 3 times and its set just above off. So for amplification purposes it works very well. For me though, it REALLY amplified things like putting a plate down. Turning a knob on my car or having the blinkers in my car make the blinking sound. All of which were super loud. Voices however, while louder were not crazy loud like all the other ambient noises. I wish that were not the case. I wish these had a way to try different filters or modes. I also wish it had an app so I could adjust where the boost is to match the area of frequency loss that I have. There are no adjustments with this. Only volume control. So all in all, I think these are lacking in features that could have made it much more usable. But they do work well as an amplifier.
