This lens hood fits my 18-55mm standard Nikon kit lens attached to a Nikon D5600 camera but is slightly loose and does wobble and move when using the camera.You will need to check the hood often to make sure it is in the correct position as it tends to want to unscrew itself and may fall off. A number of photo's were spoiled when part of the lens hood was visible in the pictures due to the hood unscrewing itself. It's not a tight fit.Other than the loose fit, the material it is made from seems to be close to the quality of the official one, a stiff plastic - not rubber, so it won't deform in the bag.The fit on the lens is not secure. I used a piece of paper wedged in the ring to keep it from moving but that's not ideal as I need to remove it each time to fit back in my camera bag.I can't be too critical of this lens hood as you really get what you pay for. It was much cheaper than the official Nikon one.If you want to put a small piece of tape to secure the lens hood that's one solution and will save you money on the official Nikon lens hood.

I'm not sure this is actually metal. It looks like painted plastic to me and it feels pretty cheap.The real test of an item like this is whether it works. I don't think it's super effective for blocking flare, but any help is better than none.I actually find it more convenient to shoot without it, to be honest. I'll probably end up saving up for one of the more expensive but better hoods.It does the job so it's ok, but I don't think it's quite as premium in feel as something like the Fuji X100F deserves.

Bought this for my new Nikon D3500 + AF-P DX 18-55 f/3.5-5.6G VR. The lens hood fits perfectly, locks into place quite firmly. When you don't use the camera, you can reverse the lens hood, so it won't damage when you store the camera.

Fits like a glove, on my Nikon D5600 AF-P 18-55mm lens.Make sure that you have the AF-P lens before buying

Fast delivery but the lens hood was far too big, it was to big for my 55 to 200 lens, I could not be bothered to send it back so got rid of it,

I bought this for a Nikon D3400, it fits snugly as long as you turn to make it "click", looks good on the 18-55 mm lens.

A value for money item, the bayonet mount is a little light compared to my Nikon hood.But, saying that,we it has done the job I purchased it for, and I could buy eight of these while buying one genuine Nikon N-108.
