I get really cold in an evening but I prefer not to keep putting the heating on for cost reasons. I had been looking for a quality heated blanket for some time but I wanted to ensure I spent my money wisely. This heated throw is a good size and perfect to snuggle up underneath on a cold evening. It is plush and very soft. I got the chocolate version which is a lovely dark chocolate brown. It has lines sewn vertically down it which keeps the thin tubes in place. You can’t really feel the wires insides and it still has drape and feels lightweight and very comfortable. It is well made and has the CE mark on the controller. The blanket is controlled via a controller that allows you to easily chose a setting from 1-9. I usually have my blanket on 5 but if it is really cold then I go up to 7. It has a warm, comfortable heat. The blanket has made cold evenings much more enjoyable and I really relish feeling warm and comforted. One thing that made me choose this blanket was that this blanket has a two year guarantee; electrical items can go wrong so this really offers me peace of mind. I feel it is good value with the quality and guarantee in mind. I’m not sure I could be without this blanket now! I’m really glad that I chose this brand and blanket.

This is amazing! It heats up quickly and really does make a huge difference to my comfort (I live in a very cold flat - no central heating - only one radiator in the living room). It is also lovely quality. I can now be actually warm! A miracle. And for a fraction of the cost I was spending before with the radiator on. Wish I'd got one of these some winters ago instead of waiting!

This arrived today as promised and I couldn't wait to get it out of the box. I ordered this following advice from experts - "heat the person and not the room". I work from home and have a very old central heating system, so it costs a fortune to run it, having 11 radiators around my house. I switched this on as soon as it arrived, turned off the heating and I'm very impressed with it. I have it on setting 6 (goes up to 9 + High) and it's just right to keep me comfortable. It's not the most expensive of items available on Amazon and not the cheapest either, but it's a good choice. It's very soft material with a decent length of electric cord. It's washable too. I don't know how much it costs to run, but it's definitely less than running the central heating when it's currently so cold. Would recommend.

I have a rare neurological disease which affects how I feel the cold & I’m usually cold when the rest of my family are warm so this blanket was ideal! I had previously bought a Homecront electric throw/blanket which kept breaking & shorted the control box on it twice which was definitely not good! They were great at exchanging the blankets/control boxes but it happened too many times with electricity arcing in the control unit the last time! This blanket has been washed/dried & still works perfectly! My only complaint (hence 4starz not 5!) is that it is most certainly not inflammable! This caught very briefly on the glass front of my gas fireplace & it melted through to the wiring almost instantly, melting it like nylon. If you were buying this for a smoker I would not recommend it, otherwise it’s great!

I bought this for my friend's 100th birthday, and she loves it! This keeps her really warm, either in bed or sitting watching television. Well worth the cost.

I always like to give a fair opinion about the items I buy, but I have to say straight off, what a buy! I had a single throw different make and I thought that was pretty good, but this one I use when I am sat on my chair especially when the dogs needs to be out and the door is open. I have really been struggling with the cost of living so not had my heating on above 11 degrees. So buying this blanket seeing the reviews and costs of other single & double throws, I decided on this one and very happy 10 settings timer, soft fleece, double size, at 5ft 2" on my reclining chair it tucks in lovely from toes to chin and around my hefty frame. Level 2&3 is plenty hot enough. And it really is lovely, I also like the fact that the coils for heating in the blanket seem to take turns in heating, once heated I turned the heat off and 20 mins later I was still toasty. Actually really impressed and going to buy another one when I can afford it. Is it worth the cost in my book yes absolutely. What a buy!

Initially I loved the blanket I paid £40. It was very soft and so cosy. Then after a few days I noticed a burning smell and the blanket was stone cold in some areas and roasting hot in others. Scary. As it has a warranty I was able to return it, I very clearly asked the seller for an exchange, not a refund, as the prices of these blankets has gone up from around £40 to now £60-£100. I wouldn't be able to afford to replace it. Customer services confirmed I could have an exchange. Then they just quietly refunded me and said no more. No explanation as to why i couldnt have a new one sent out. I messaged and asked why and they basically said don't worry you have a refund. So frustrating. So now I either have to pay loads extra for the same thing or not have a cosy electric throw this winter.

This is the best thing I have ever bought. It has several setting on it. The tempurture has loads of setting and the timer also has lots of settings. It is very reliable. It is also very cheap to run as it doesn't use a lot of electricity. It is very easy to take off the cover and wash it. It is also really big, it is about the size of a double bed and the heat is distributed evenly over the whole cover. The cover itself is super soft. It is great in the winter time. I really recommend this.
