Works great but my cat hiding under the bed!
A friend told me her cats love the steam brush but it will take some time for my semi-feral cat to get used to it.

Works good
Works pretty good. The button to remove the fur easily is the best part it it in my opinion. The steamer surprisingly leaves the steam cold. Inwas expecting it to be warm. Overall a good brush for the price.

Nice brush, but my cat is afraid of the noise
My cat gets hairballs frequently, which is what attracted me to the pet spray brush from iIVYQXG . I was hoping that by using a more effective grooming tool, I could brush away the loose fur before she gets a chance to ingest it, resulting in fewer hairballs. The water spray element seemed appealing; anyone who has touched a cat with damp hands knows that water can be very effective in gathering loose fur. However, my cat is very timid and easily frightened by unfamiliar experiences, so I was a little hesitant to give this product a try. Unfortunately my hunch was correct and I’ve been unable to use this brush as intended. I still believe this is a very nice and well-designed product with a lot going for it. Just because it didn’t work for me doesn’t mean it won’t work for you.The product itself seems nicely made. With the chick design, you could even call it a bit cute. It comes with a charging cable and a small bottle to make adding water easier. Do note that the water bottle can hold more liquid than the water reservoir in the brush. If you don't pay attention, you can easily overfill it. The opening around the water reservoir seals tightly so that there will be no leaks, no matter what angle you hold the brush at.It is extremely easy to operate. One button activates the water. The other button pushes any accumulated fur to the ends of the brush tines, making it very easy to clean the gathered fur and dispose of it. The size is comfortable in the hand. The tines of the brush have tiny little caps on their ends, making it a little less scratchy during use. This is a very nice feature as my cat has sensitive skin and some brushes can be too much for her. She tolerates and even enjoys this one as long as I'm gentle. As a standard brush, this is an excellent product. The spray feature is where I ran into problems. When you press the button, the brush activates a gentle mist. (Though the packaging calls it a "steam brush," the water that comes out is more like a very fine mist and is not hot at all.) While the water is dispersing, it makes a soft hissing sound. To me, this sound is noticeable but not loud or bothersome. My cat has different ideas. She is very nervous by nature, and she goes on alert as soon as I activate this feature. Usually she runs out of the room.I've tried to get her accustomed to it by turning it on when she's in the same room but keeping it far away from her. After many repetitions of this she will now usually calm down if she's near it while it's operating, but she still bolts if I try to bring it near her. I will continue to try to get her acclimated to it, but I'm very doubtful I will ever be able to use the water with her. As such, I can only make partial use of this brush.I’m still pleased with the basic brush design, but disappointed that the main feature of this brush will not work for me. This is entirely due to my cat's nervous nature, and is not a fault of the product. If you have a pet that gets easily spooked, you may not be able to use this product. Calmer pets will likely be fine with it since the noise it makes is very soft.Giving a final rating is difficult, since I was unable to use the brush properly. I’d love to be able to report on if the misting water actually helps with grooming, or if it’s just a gimmick. But since my cat runs from the area the moment she hears the sound, I’m afraid I can only guess. I’m rounding up to 4 stars based on the design and the features I was able to test.****About me: Integrity is very important to me. Reviews I've posted will be from items I've had direct contact with. These are my honest opinions. I will not post a review for a product I have not had personal contact with.

This May Take Some Effort But Soft Clean Fur Is A Big Prize
I have a pair of black cats both rescued. The older A female had a water challenged beginning and begs for me to turn on a faucet (She prefers the tub faucet) to drip and then two or more times a day she bathes like a racoon. Dipping her paws and licking herself. Really so clean she never needs a bath. Her short hair is soft and clean every day. He on the other hand was food challenged and plays with his food preferring to catch it himself. Even if it is just pulling from a bowl or snagging dry food from one of his many puzzles. He has learned to drink from a dripping faucet but does not bathe. He gets a bit matted on his back. Likely my fault for getting him dirty petting him. So the idea of a steam like bath regularly attracted me. I went for this to try to replace bathing in the tub with a regular steam brushing. The simple device is only a steamer and a brush. The brush is very well designed with rounded a shape that can move through the neck cheek brushing smoothly and the cats love it. But if I turn on the steam they both become wary and will not approach it or allow it to touch them. Though I hear no noise it may have a soft ssssss sound or perhaps the mechanism that produces the steam stream makes a small sound. Thus it will take some time to get the animals to accept it as harmless and feels good. I will persist on them both as the benefit is soft dry clean fur all the time. I have raised the rating as I have had success in acclimating the cats to the brush and it is great for him hand her not too wet. faces clean.

Cute cat brush
Our cat is not a huge fan of the "cool mist", but the brush itself works well and seems to get more loose hair than the other brushes we've used in the past. While the yellow and orange "chick" design is cute, the unit feels a little bulky. The push button hair release mechanism works pretty well. The mist feature works surprisingly well. It looks like steam, but is not hot, and can't burn you or your cat.Be sure to empty the water reservoir after use, and before charging.

Amazing Brush
I got this brush to get one of my cat’s fur coats under control. It exceeded my expectations! I have no intention of using the steam brush and never did but got this anyway because I was intrigued by its design. It is a great size, has angled bristles and works very well. The best part about this is how you can press a button and essentially force all of the hair out of the bristles. Genius! My cat is not a fan of it, but he isn’t a fan of getting brushed in general and it is cleaning him up nicely! It is super easy to use and will be used often!

My cat didn't hate it
Overall, this is a pretty nice brush and my cat didn't mind it at all. A few specific thoughts:The brush itself works well. The bristles are firm and they remove the fur perfectly, and the mechanism for clearing the bristles works well. The "steam" function is a silly gimmick. It doesn't actually produce steam and the manual for the product even says so; it simply produces a fine mist. I used this on my medium/short haired cat and he didn't mind it, but it didn't provide any benefits to the grooming process. It slightly moistened the surface of his fur, but I didn't see any value in this. The manual does mention that you can mix conditioner or other things into the water, but I will never use it for this.Ultimately, this is a decent brush, but unless you're planning to use it to disperse liquid into the fur of your pet, you will probably be better off just buying a brush without the "steam" feature.
