Direct replacement, great so far…
Received the Tello as a gift, was flying it around for a while and started becoming very fimiliar with the functions and maneuvers. Night time came and I felt like it was time. Got a little ballsy and removed the prop guards. Flew it straight down my hallway and hit a turn a tad bit early, clipped the threshold, props flying everywhere and drone is down! The motor somehow, popped out of the socket and was dangling. One of the wires had ripped off the base of the motor. I quickly ran to my phone and did what anyone that needs anything would do. The instinct that grew through the pandemic. Looked it up on Amazon. Low and behold, the set was available. Purchased all four In case I have more gutsy moves always be prepared😂. I soldered it up, put it together and it was ready for another round. Motor very very similar works flawlessly 👌🏽👍🏽

Works perfectly
These worked to fix the Tello drone that my kids got for Christmas. It comes with two clockwise motors (blue wire) and two counter clockwise (white wire) and a screwdriver for the tiny screws. It was an easy repair. The hardest part was fishing the two wires through the tiny hole below the motor. I had to drill it out a little. Having young eyes and small fingers or the right tools (in my case) helps a lot.

Good Motor
Replaced one damaged motor in a Trello drone. Works perfectly so must be an exact match.

works great
My tello's motor died because a crash, original one has blacks and white cables, searching in the web this motor is CW but here says CCW, I just replaced the motor with the black and white cables one, worked perfectly. Pictures shown incorrect info. UPDATE: Video added showing the motors rotation

Great replacement
Replaced a motor that broke during a crash into a tree and it works great. The motor stopped working well after the crash, I watched some YouTube videos and did the replacement. I had to use a nail to widen the hole where the wires run out of the wire housing. I dropped solder on the wire connections, applied some electric tape then tucked the wires in the main compartment. The axle for these motors is shorter than what comes with the Tello but that’s because the motor itself is taller. In the end, the propellers are all level.

Not a simple repair. Requires meticulous disassembly
Motors are great, are proper replacements, but the actual job to remove the original motor(s) is a lot more complicated than suggested. The motor wires are embedded into the frame arms, the two rear arms also have the antenna leads along with the motor leads and they are easily damaged, so take care. The two rear motor housings also contain the actual antennas, they are in the bottom, underneath each motor and again they require care in dissembling to replace the motor. After installing a set of these motors I still had no signal to the same rear motor that was in question. So I sent it to Ryze Tello for repair, total cost was $39 and they paid for the shipping. My problem wasn’t with the motor, it was a main control board issue and that wasn’t under any warranty, but $39 for a replacement Tello was worth the trouble.

Choque mi drone. Se le salio un motor y pensé que ya no tenia solución. Busque y solo fue necesario comprar y cambiar el motor. Cumple bastante bien.

Yes these are the perfectreplacement motors for the Ryze Tello drone. My son attempted to remove a broken propellor without the tool and ended up pulling a motor out, tearing one of the wires. We ordered this replacement kit (includes 4 motors to replace each on the drone) as well as a tiny screwdriver to remove the under casing on the drone. The motors are a quick straight forward fix. Thanks to the many videos on YouTube 👏🏽 HOWEVER! We found out (too late) that removing the under casing is unnecessary. AND may lead to an accidental disconnect of the drone camera 🙃. The camera connector seems to be glued to the under casing and may become disconnected when taking the casing off. It’s unlikely you’ll need to remove the casing to replace the motors. You should be able to gently pull the wires up from the drone legs and replace the motor without the extra and unnecessary step of re-connecting the camera! Great kit for a straightforward drone repair!
