Actually makes my game better, a lot better.
I've been playing for about 2 years, once per week and really didn't think a better paddle would make any difference. I have been using a paddle from a starter set of 2 paddles that also came with pickleballs for $50. I only bought this because I noticed that the beginner paddle had an edge and I often hit the ball on the edge which would make the ball go wonky. So I bought this paddle just because it was edgeless. But after playing with it for 4 weeks now I noticed a couple of things. First, it was substantially lighter away from the handle which allowed me to have faster reflexes and get to shots I normally would not have been able to move fast enough to get with the old paddle. Part of that may be due to the hole that allows air to flow through it easier, not sure but I could feel the difference on the very first shot. Second, I play against people who have a good spin on the ball and I noticed that when a spinning ball hits this new paddle, the abrasive face seems to take all their spin off the ball and it leaves my paddle with authority instead of sliding off it like it did with the old paddle. Lastly, the old paddle seemed to have a small sweet spot which made my returns often too hard or too soft. This paddle has a much more consistent energy release across the entire face. This is one of the few low cost edgeless paddles I could find and I got it on sale under $40 and I could not be more pleased with it. Sometimes, you get a lot more than what you pay for. I bought it for the edgeless design but got the high friction face, light weight, and large sweet spot for free.

A very good paddle for under $100!
This is a very good (for the price) paddle. The weight and balance are good and the suface has good abrasive. It comes packaged much better than any of the $200 paddles I own, with a very nice padded cover, an extra grip and an eraser! A very good value! If you are fairly new to the game, do NOT buy an expensive paddle. This paddle (or one of many similar paddles) will suffice until you reach a much higher level and decide to spend at least $100 more for a slightly better paddle.

great paddle for 3.5 to 4.0 level players, even more impressed with the seller and vendor
I'm 3.5 to 4.0 level player, have used other brands paddles in $200 to $250 range. I play indoor and outdoor, from wooden floors to concrete. I prefer control (dinks, spins) over power (overhead, hard drives with plenty of top spin). Got the 16mm version 3 weeks ago, played with it at least 25 hours since. That's not enough time to establish how durable the paddle and especially surface are, but here is I was able to find so far. For my stile of play, this paddle is perfect. Beats (much) more expensive ones with a big brand behind them. More grit then 6.0 Double Diamond or Ruby. Better control then Engage Pursuit (the older version that I had). Nice pop, quite wide sweet spot. Very forgiving. I ended up adding 3g weight tape on top just to get a bit more power at overhead swings, and I found that also helps with my topspin drives, while just marginally slowing me down when responding to volleys at the kitchen line Will all that last forever - only time will tell, but after over 25 hrs of use/abuse I don't see any degradation on the carbon surface. Now what drove me to give this paddle a chance - reposes that mention how responsive the seller was! And I had the same experience - got some damage at the edge (this paddle is edgeless and more prone to occasional mishaps with another player on your side :)). I asked seller for available options, got response within several hours (!!!), provide a picture of damage, got responded the next day that vendor approved seller to send a replacement paddle!! Setting a great example for customer care are respect, nothing more, nothing less! I'd buy again form the same vendor (already have - should get indoor balls today :)) In the mean time I offered friends to give it a try and so far can brag that 5 of them have already ordered this paddle! If the surface lasts 3 months, having 4 of them bought within a year still beats $250 price tag for a paddle from a big name vendor, if it lasts a year (and usually does not) :) Might want to consider a 13mm one if you want more power, would be great to have them compared! Highly recommended, after 3 weeks of extensive use!

Nice padel with carbon fiber for spin with case, keychain, cleaning pad and over grip. Racquet feels very lightweight. You cannot apply edge tapes coz it wont stick.

OK, so full disclosure, i am a new pickleball player who started on the sport on the goading of the sweet wife who encouraged me to have some cardio workout as i was officially "middle-aged". we have a spin bike and treadmill at home, but both get kinda boring after a while. i play a little tennis although nowhere near tournament levels. just another sport to get those limbs moving and the heart pumping. but tennis can be a little too hard on the elbows and knees. enter pickleball... of course i am not saying that it is a "weaker" or "softer" or "gentler" sport, but from what i have gathered watching it on TV or youtube, it does seem like something we can get into. so we did. but we wanted to see first if it was indeed what we would like, so we did not invest too much into the equipment. we just got the cheapest set we could find that has all the stuff needed to start playing. and play we did. and we got our friends involved too. and everybody is liking it. and so now i think was a good time to upgrade. i thought this Warping Point Carbon Fiber Pickleball Paddle was the perfect upgrade for me. so i ordered it when i saw it was available. received it today and played a short game with my daughter at our community's clubhouse and i was blown away by how it feels and plays. i really do think it helped my game, but of course, that is a quick conclusion that will need more time and sample data to get proven. but i am getting ahead of myself... unboxing it was a far better experience than the cheaper ones we had before. this had all the markings of "premium" written into it. packaging was rally nice. the box had a very nice modern design. the paddle itself was cradled inside in a molded foam lining to protect it during shipment. there is an extra grip wrap included. a nice keychain in the shape of a paddle. a protective/carrying case for the paddle with a nice texture. and the paddle itself was sooooo nice. apparently endorsed by a world-ranked pickleball player and former tennis pro Tina Tisnik. it looks great and feels great. this is premium quality item. it has a 20mm polypropylene honeycomb core, not like cheaper brands made of simple fiberglass. the surface has carbon fiber texture with higher grit allowing for more control of spins and sharper shots. there is an opening at the lower part of the paddle face which allows for airflow, letting you swing faster with precise directions. the frame is unibody meaning it is one-piece from the handle to the head. i really love this paddle and i can't wait to play more over the weekend. awesome pickleball paddle that i believe can elevate anybody's game whether noobs like me or seasoned pros. you don't have to take my word for it, but you can take Tina's :-)
