Highly recommend
Would highly recommend , works a treat and turns those irritatin winding blinds to automatic blinds. Also much cheaper to order normal blinds and add the automation yourself. I ordered blinds from blinds4UK so good. Saved over £200 buying separately

Effortless Installation and Reliable Performance
The media could not be loaded. I bought 2 of the Eve Smart Blinds to replace Ikea’s FYRTUR smart blinds and have now owned them for 4 months. The housing/motor of the smart blinds is relatively big, requiring a blind tube of 38-51mm, meaning they unfortunately didn’t fit my existing blinds. To fix this, I simply purchased some PVC tubing, cut it down to size, stuck on the blind material and then continued following the instructions to install the motor, which was very easy to follow!Once physically installed and attached to the wall, pairing the Smart Blinds to HomeKit was incredibly easy, you just scan a HomeKit QR code and away you go!I have found the blinds to be very responsive and reliable over the past 4 months and have had no issues. Battery life is very good, only dropping down to 80%, but can also be quickly charged back up to 100% using a USB C cable if needed. They’re also quieter than the Ikea FYRTUR smart blinds which is something I wanted.Eve have also announced the blinds will receive a Matter update in November 2023, meaning they are future proof! The only small problem I have with the blinds is that here are 2 small wires which need to be hidden - but this isn’t a big deal.Regardless, I highly recommend these blinds and will be purchasing more in the future.

Lousy instructions. Bad design. Slow, rude and unhelpful customer support. A total waste of money.
There are several big problems with this Eve blind mechanism.1. It doesn't work with blinds that have tubes smaller than a certain size. They need to make this clearer before people buy it and find it doesn't fit.2. It has a mechanism that holds it inside the tube that has sort of pop-out fins. These are kept in place during installation by removable plastic thingy. If you accidentally remove this thingy, the pop-out fins, well, pop-out and can never be pushed back. This means that if you don't install it correctly, you can NEVER install it and the whole £170+ thing is permanently useless.3. The instructions for installing this and dealing with this point are very unclear to the point of being confusing.4. There are no videos or walkthroughs on Eve's site to explain how to do it. Just a very bad cartoon-like sub-Ikea image that makes it look like you are supposed to remove the retaining plastic thingy.5. Eve support takes 5+ days to respond to any request6. In this case their response was 'I'm sorry but we won't be able to help on this matter, we have no instructions on how to remedy incorrect mounted blinds'. Which is fundamentally unhelpful since the problem arises from their poor quality instructions and faulty industrial design. In short, be very careful buying or installing Eve blinds.

Easy.... just read the product description first in full!
Amazing product, works flawlessly and easy to install. The vast majority of those are trying to fit to cheap IKEA blinds (or simliar) which have very narrow tubes (part of the reason they are cheap).Just check the measurements in the description, if you tube falls within these parameters then you can use one of the three spacers to get a perfect fit. Simple.... so long as you can read!

Amazing, work perfectly
Wish I had purchased these sooner, we used standard dunelm blinds which we transferred over to 40mm tube without issue. To do this we just used a hairdryer to gently remove them from the old tube, then used double sided tape to stick them onto the 40mm tube.Fitting was easy just like adding them to Apple HomeKit. Overall really impressed with them, which given I was nervous after reading the reviews was a relief.Only problem is, now I want more of them!

Some things others don’t tell you
Had this for a few weeks now. It is working flawlessly. I programmed it using the app over Bluetooth, told it where in the world I was and told it to open at sunrise and close at sunset. Boom! Haven’t touched the app since. The settings are saved into the device - no need for wifi hubs etc. I used an aluminium pipe 45mm external diameter. I could have gotten away with smaller. At last a gadget that actually works :D

Easy install, quiet operation
I bought two of these to upgrade blinds in my home. Fortunately the blind tubes I had were a suitable size.Installation was a breeze, the instructions were ok and I watched a few online videos as well.Once installed setup via the Eve app was a breeze, and all relevant settings were prompted. (Direction, top, bottom etc)And once setup they updated to latest firmware.Operation via Apple HomeKit is easy and I’ve added some automations.I would definitely use these again.

Needs to be slimmer, cheaper, and easier to install
It’s clear this expensive bit of kit was designed by a tech company as it has many impracticalities during setup. Most blind barrels are too narrow, so an additional purchase is necessary. Transferring the fabric to the new barrel is more difficult that it sounds as the material bunches (telescopes) to one side in most events. So several readjustments are necessary. Oh, and each time both sides of the Eve Motionblind needs to be taken out when it isn’t designed for this.Setting the top and bottom in the Eve app does not transfer to the Home app, so Home opens the blind too much, the material becomes unstuck from the barrel, falls to the floor and you have to start again. Your material will probably get damaged in the process. The bracket screw vertical holes are required to be clear as the bracket cover has a clip which requires the hole to be unused.
