Upgraded to 5 star despite short measure
Like other reviewers the 2m stove rope was shorter than stated. Straight forward to fit and as with most DIY the preparation is the key. You can use pegs or tape to keep the rope in place whilst waiting for the adhesive to fully set, useful when the door to the stove cannot be removed and laid flat.I have upgraded my review to 5 stars because of the difference replacing the rope has made. The log burner burns hotter, I don't have to have the air sliders as far out and the air wash system works so much better. The stove glass is cleaner with no black soot marks. There was plenty of glue to stick just under 2m. What a difference.

a really good product
A good product easy to use and the rope being black-ish means it doesn't stand out just perfect.

Product is fine, but needs to include more glue.
It’s slightly under 2 meters out of the bag, but run it through your hands a few times, and it stretches to its full length. My door needed the full 2 meters, if yours is the same, be sparing with the glue. I ran a modest bead, and it stopped flowing 2 thirds around the door. The remaining third was a frustrating process of banging the back of the tube and squeezing the hell out of it to extract what I needed to finish the run. That said, it cured fine, the rope seems solid and hasn’t moved after a week of blasting the wood burner.Suggest you remove your door and lay it flat to do the job. It would be a nightmare process trying to do it in a vertical position.Take some time cleaning out the old glue, and wipe the grove out to remove the dust. I vacuumed it first, then used some isopropyl alcohol. This extra effort will pay off, as the glue will stick, well….like ‘glue’!
