I recently tried the sushi rice and I have to say, it was a huge disappointment. The texture was completely wrong, it was way too sticky and mushy. It felt as if the rice had been overcooked or left sitting out for a while. It was a challenge to even form the rice into sushi rolls because of how sticky and clumpy it was.Not only was the texture a letdown, but the taste was also lacking. The rice had no distinct flavor to it. It was bland and tasteless, which is a huge letdown when you're expecting the rice to enhance the overall taste of the sushi. It did nothing to complement the flavors of the other ingredients.Furthermore, the packaging did not seem secure. The rice had spilled out of the bag during transit, leaving a mess in the box and reducing the overall quantity of rice provided. I ended up having to throw away a good portion of it because it was no longer fresh or appetizing.For the price I paid, I expected a much better quality sushi rice. It was a waste of money and left me feeling unsatisfied. I would not recommend this sushi rice to anyone looking for an authentic and delicious Japanese sushi experience. It was a complete letdown, and I will definitely be seeking out a different brand in the future.
