Pics of the moon. Looking like structures
The media could not be loaded. What I did not like was the vibration each time I tried to take a pic. So I set a timer for I think 3s again I used an iPhone as my camera. So the vibration pads are needed. I guess if you’re using your phone as I am.Another problem I’m having is the alignment process, I gave up and I just ordered the gps.My first telescope, I’ll up grade the the 8se real soon. Those pics you can zoom in on as well as the videos. You might see some buildings.Very good telescope I’d say, as I am a beginner.

Incredible Telescope!
I’m a beginner as far as telescopes go and this is an amazing telescope for the price. It was easy to set up and I could see many stars as well as a couple planets on my first try. And that was with horrible light pollution. This is definitely a great telescope for a beginner through an intermediate user. It is great for starting off with astrophotography as well. I can’t think of anything negative to say about.

Couldn’t align it
This may be a great telescope, but I’ll never know. I simply could not align it. I called their help desk, but still no luck. I was excited to use it but ended up very disappointed.

Tried and true
I owned this scope in the past about 17 years ago. I was amazed by this scope. I have owed bigger and better scopes like 8 and 9.25 by this company. I like this one better because of its light weight. If you grab a smaller scope more often then the bigger heavier one then buy the lighter cause you’ll use it more often. There is so many options in this scope now vs back in the day and I’m glad to own another one. I found this to be pretty easy to set up align and use. But with the starsense technology I’m sure it’s way easier now. I’m working on mounting a guide scope for this as my plans are astrophotography. The pics I have included with this was on a range of 6se, 8se, and cpx 9.25 and the views you see will be close to this and or astrophotography with a cannon rebel and celestron neximager.

Nice beginner. Manageable size.
It’s not too heavy to take out every night. Works well but works better with a few bells and whistles accessories which you will soon drive into if you give this hobby one week chance. Then you’re hooked.

Very Difficult * FOR BEGINNERS *
The set up to “ find the 3 star points - reference “ is very difficult. We have been about to look at moon and it is cool BUT it has NOT “ auto found other stars “ you can manually find them BUT you can’t really see anything - they are just dots in sky. I bought the wifi adapter ( which seems cool but we can’t get it to find any stars ). We have invested a few hours into attempting to get it to auto find stars - Never could get it to work :(. Also just don’t think this one is remotely powerful enough even if it did work :(
