Glicks Finest, Potato Starch 24oz, (1.5 lb Resealable Container) Gluten Free

I discovered this product from a blog that suggested it. I am so happy I ordered it and gave it a try. I use a little bit on my home fries, smashed potatoes, or my home made french fries and it gives them a extra super crunch that is just delicious. I have also used this product to bread some chicken which turned out super crispy. Will be buying this again.

I have had a hard time finding potato starch in the grocery stores in my area. Finding this was a God send. The container is large enough that it will last me for a while. I also like that it is in a container and not a bag which make storage and use easy. My family has a lot of food allergies/dietary restrictions and I use this as a substitute for corn starch and in flour blends. It works greatt and has no unusual flavor or colors as some substitutions do. I will be getting more when I run out.

I purchased this as an alternative to boric acid for my carrom board. Boric acid has been linked to reproductive issues in males and I do love Carrom. I was looking for something to slide the carrom men across the board and this fits the trick.

I'm never using cornstarch again after using this. It is one of the best ways I've ever found to thicken a sauce or gravy without it having a starchy/raw flavor. It also makes any food on which you want to get a crispy coating so much better - just a tablespoon or two mixed in with your flour works wonders. I highly recommend.

i cant really find potato starch at my grocery stores. it works wonderfully, the stuff i need to fry comes out perfectly crisp and stays crisp in sauces (like chinese) and as leftovers. I have used different things to achieve the same result but this is the best compared to flour, rice flour or cornstarch. I like the container because it reduces space in cupboard needed and is easy to reseal. stays fresh.

Product arrived as advertised and in great condition. I intend to use this starch as a binding agent when I make my own wood bisquettes for the Bradley smoker so I can't comment on using it while baking. I am satisfied.

Never used this stuff before but it's recommended in a lot of Air Fryer recipes. Works great and tastes better than corn starch, etc. I'll be using this a lot more in my breading, especially for chicken! Highly recommend!
