Federica Brown Leather Battery Power Recliner

I just got this chair and a solid deal. I had to get movers carry the item up three floors (cost me about $70). I go to plug it in and the connector to the battery is broken off in the battery. GREAT! The way they packed the item all the wires hang out the bottom. There is no height adjust so it is already pretty low. Just by placing it down, it may have broke the BRICK of a battery. Anyway, fine... easy replacement I would assume. Nope, go to Natuzzi Editions website (apparently not natuzzi itself) and find out "any issues please direct warranty questions to retailer". Alright great. Contacted Amazon, they offered return but I already spent too much time moving this 170 pound chair up three flights. I would just like the part! Amazon was nice but they are not in the position of the company to send me replacement parts. Shame on Natuzzi Editions warranty process. Completely dumb to force retailers to take care of their stuff. Just a brick and a cord, but no one available to get me one. It isn't even on ebay to buy....No replacement part found so far..Chair feels good though but wish it could lean forward just a little bit more to push my back up in case I am reading something.

Received my Natuzzi Italian brown leather recliner intact and with the battery power in good working order. For me, one selling point was that the recliner could be recharged and not always have it plugged into an electrical outlet. The chair is well built and very sturdy consequently making it heavy. Fortunately, I had the shippers deliver into the garage where it was unpacked and maneuvered through a doorway and rolled up into a second-floor condo. The only reason for a 4-star rating is that my feet don't quite touch the ground when sitting all the way back. Anyone who is taller than 5'7" this may not be an issue. However, I'm finding that the recliner is providing relief to my back whereas my old chair was so low it was becoming more difficult to get out of.

Ordered the chair and it came a week early! Was so excited but then after 2 cycles of the recliner we started hearing a loud knocking sound every once in a while like something was out of alignment and it would either pop back on or pop off a track. Tried to investigate but it only happened every 3 to 7 cycles and it also would change from the back reclining-returning up or the leg section reclining-returning. So sad as we really liked the chair. Had to return it. We will probably re-order when they come back in stock.

The chair is beautiful and comfortable, what you would expect. Its very wide so check your clearances before you buy, I also had the crew taking it up 2 flights of stairs because could not get in the elevator. Also, the battery came DOA but after contacting Natuzzi they shipped another one from China, got it in a week. So far happy w the purchase.
