100% Great Product
Saw this on a YouTube video, and needed a new headlamp. Let me tell you this one is bright as could be and lasted my entire week long camp trip. It is super easy to use and is extremely comfortable on your head. Easy to tell when it’s fully charged, and even comes with its own cord. For 25 dollars this thing is worth it even just for the week I’ve used it. Plus you don’t need batteries and it’s super lite.

Awesome little light
This is exactly what I wanted in a headlamp. It’s is ultra lightweight, minimalist design, compact and very bright. The button pushes are tactile. After reading the manual, it became very easy to switch between lighting modes; there are several. Red light is a welcome addition to any headlamp for low light use and reading in the dark. This little light is currently packed in my roadside safety box in my truck. Battery life is as advertised.

Incredible headlamp!
What can I say, but "WOW"This lite light (sorry) is one of the best things since sliced bread. It's lightweight, battery life for hours, the design and buttons are easy to use, the reflective AND glow in the dark strap are a great feature. It packs away and takes up very little space. Overall, it's a great value for the money!

Excellent light
Works as stated. Definitely useful for camping to keep you hands free. Might just be in my head, but I'm pretty sure the red light didn't attract insects to my head like the white light did. Not a fan of the elastic cords. I prefer a flat elastic headband for comfort and storage, but the one provided is of good quality and adjusts easily. Very light weight, charges fast and lasts a long while. Seriously no complaints. "Does what it says" is the reason I keep coming back to Nitecore products.

First Impressions of the Nitecore NU20 Classic Ultralight Headlamp
The Nitecore NU20 Classic Ultralight Headlamp stays true to its lightweight design, now featuring a USB-C port for charging and a slightly larger battery. It weighs .9 oz without the head strap—about the same as the original NU25 (non-UL version). However, I’m puzzled by Nitecore’s numbering scheme. Why call this the NU20 when there was already a NU20, just like they did with the NU25UL when there was already a NU25? This new NU20 is actually more similar to the original NU25, so why not just increment the numbers to make it easier for customers to understand the product progression? That said, the light itself is great. There are four brightness levels for the main spotlight, two levels for the red light, and a CRI flood light that works well in a tent or around camp, just like the original NU25. However, I’m not a fan of the plastic casing—it looks and feels cheaper than previous models due to some unnecessary textures they added. The headband is lighter than the original straps, but it still feels bulky for such a small headlamp. Thankfully, the headband is removable. I made my own mod by using a simple elastic band cut to size with knots on each end, snapped into the upper slots of the headlamp. This brings my setup to a total weight of 1.1 oz, making it truly ultralight. On the downside, the lockout feature now takes much longer to activate and deactivate, which feels unnecessary. The buttons, while seemingly more water-resistant, are also harder to press—not impossible, but enough to make it slightly frustrating. As a comparison, I’ve also been using the new NU25UL. After several night hikes, I’m not a fan and actually reverted back to using the original NU25 (non-UL version). While the NU25UL cuts down on weight, it doesn’t deliver the same level of comfort or functionality I’ve come to appreciate in the original.

By far the best lightweight headlamp
From the get-go I knew I loved this thing which sound weird to say about a headlamp. It's lightweight enough that I can throw it in my pants pocket as is and not be too bothered by it or even notice it. This is meant to be left in my sling bag but I've found that I also like carrying it as is use it as a little torch. The controls are simple and don't have anything I dont need. The LED charge indicator is great. The red light is something new to me and I like it so far, yet to test it but when not trying to bother anyone with light in the middle of the night I already know it will come in handy for that. An added bonus is that it has a separate control for that. I hate lights that have a single button and you have all these additional modes that you have to cycle through to get to what you need. The strap seems simple enough to remove or even replace if you wanted to but I like how it works for me so far. I've randomly and quickly thrown it on my caps without issue, it has adjustment points so once it's setup I dont worry about having to do it again, I just throw it on. By far the best light experience I've had in a very long time and it's at such a steal of a price.

Great headlamp. Very light.
Extremely bright and light. Like it almost doesn't seem possible for it to be both that bright and that light. The white light has 3 settings from ok that's a little light to THE SUN. The red light has 3 settings as well a dim a bright and a flash. Battery life is awesome. Used it for 3 nights without any issue and it's still got 3 out of 4 charge lights on.
