It's made to hold 18 pairs of shoes, I have about 12 pairs of various style ladies shoes/sneakers/sandals on it currently and there is no issue of tipping over. It was easy to assemble, it rotates and you can easily adjust the tiers to your desired spacing.

I had looked at several of these types of shoe racks, and finally decided on this one, mostly because of the color and the number of shoes it holds. I certainly made the right decision! I had ordered a similar product for about half the price from another seller, and once I received it, it was missing all of the hardware and seemed flimsy. It cost almost as much to ship back, due to the weighted bottom. I decided to go with this one, and it was well worth the price. Even when I opened the box, I could tell this was a superior product. The weighted base was al most twice as big as the one I had ordered before, and the overall product seemed much more sturdy. Once I got it put together, it was clear this was a quality product. I love that it has such a small footprint, yet holds 18 pairs of shoes. If your shoes are overly large or thick, they may not fit one on each hook, but otherwise, this works fine for me (I wear a size 8 or 9, depending). If the price has you a little worried, it is totally worth it! Get it, you won't be disappointed :)

I would have given this product 5 stars but there is one improvement that would be very helpful. The shoes need to have the TOP of them facing out so the color and style of the shoe can be readily seen rather than looking at the bottom of the shoe which is also dirty so if the clothes hangs too low and is touching the shoe bottom they can be soiled. The good things are the base is heavy and solid, the racks are adjustable and turn but they are a bit wobbly when turning and it isn't a real smooth turning (probably due to the weight of the shoes). I like the bronze finish which is attractive and it is also very easy to assemble. The instructions are clear you just have to take the time to read them. (Many of us are too impatient to do this but it is time-saving in the long run:)

I’ve one of these in the past, (different brand)and this one beats my old one in everything: Sturdiness, built well, easy assembly and looks great! I would definitely recommend!!

I read the reviews on a couple of these steep, elevated shoe racks; only to determine that my initial choice of a cheaper version, may not be my best choice. Thus, I went with a more expensive rack with a heavier base; and which had POSITIVE REVIEWS. I made the RIGHT CHOICE! This handsome rack came with easy-to-follow instructions, assembled very quickly, and is as STURDY-AS-ADVERTISED! I am very pleased with my purchase...and highly recommend it for tight storage, and peace of mind.
