Poorly designed, weak, pretty much useless
The shank broke off within seconds of using it. I was able to do a bit more testing using the stub that remained. It worked for drilling in (clockwise) but instantly unscrewed when the drill was reversed (counter-clockwise). It appears to be made of poor quality, brittle steel and badly designed due to the poor way the shank is fastened to the chuck. The shank is threaded into the chuck and held on the inside by a flimsy Philips head screw. It doesn't stay in place for more than a few seconds no matter how much it was torqued down. Nice try but epic design failure.

5 Stars
Have to give this 5 Stars compared to others that complete the same task. Great alternative to buying renting or borrowing a half inch drill. Used on my 3/8 battery powered drill and drill through sheet steel and a monstrous 4 inch hole saw with no problems.

Good quality
Second one I've purchased. First one took a lot of abuse. Better quality than the twice as much priced Dewalt junk one I owned a couple of years ago and it only drilled one hole before breaking. I use it in a 1/4 impact gun and use it for everything, I don't own a drill anymore.
