outstanding sound!!
you can difinatly feel that isobaric bass which gives you a whole new dimension on the atmosfair compaired to fh7 and fh9 the tuning of these is somewere inbetween with a little more emphasis on bass definition.. theres more dynamics on the low end freqencys. they are definitely an improvement over previous models, well worth there money

Absolutely fantastic
Don’t know why the previous review only gave them one stars I could only assume he didn’t have them in his ears properly. I have a KA 19 DAC with kh7 and I have to say the improvement to going to These earphones is absolutely nothing short of amazing clarity instruments separation soundstage in fact in every area they’re far better than the FH 7 These are the best in In ear headphones, I have ever heard or headphones. The fact that I got so carried away listening to music I almost forgot to write this review and that says everything to me if you’re on the fence go ahead and try these. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Don’t sleep on these!! They sound ridiculously good! I love my MEZE Advars, but shockingly these might just be better. The vocals are more spacious than on the Advars. There is slightly more body and presence to them…a sense of atmosphere that just makes them more intimate sounding. Billie Eillish’s lyrics sound hauntingly beautiful. The National, The Show Show…just amazing how these IEMs handle the vocals. Based on the hyped technology in these, I think I expected more bass, but it’s really good. They definitely hang with the Advars there. They have more mid base presence and more detail in that region. The bass is clean, tight, punchy, detailed, never muddy nor overpowering…it strikes a great balance. The Advars take the edge in treble…for my ears. I like more energy and spice in the treble. The FH19 delivers great detail in the treble…just not as bright. This might be perfect for many as there was absolutely no sibilance! Also very easy to listen to for long periods without fatiguing the ear. They are larger than the Advar, but every bit as comfortable! I’m using the green filter because I do prefer more energy in the treble region. Also, I’m using Eletech Baroque eartips. These eartips are the best! I can get a great seal with them and they seem to make the soundstage even more spacious. I’ve used the FH19 with the Fiio Btr7 and Q15. Both Dac/Amps work great…but I prefer the Q15! I honestly can’t find much fault with these IEMs…they really are quite good…and I feel like they are flying under the radar and don’t get the hype that other audiophile names get. Right now these are my daily drivers and I don’t feel any need to buy any more…maybe campfire audio…one day. But for now more than satisfied! Oh…since I’ve seen this question raised…you can’t hear any sound leakage from the venting on the sides. And the sound isolation is good…equally as good as the Advars. You wouldn’t think they are because of the venting, but they actually are. And they do prevent pressure buildup in the ear and help prevent ear fatigue. In this price range…they really can’t be beat!

So to start off here I must give you a bit of back story. I have been a bit of a fiio fan for a while now starting with the FH5 years ago. I also own the FH7 and FH9 with the FH9 being the best headphone to ever touch my ears. So when fiio announced that they were releasing a successor to the FH9 I was first in line for it. Out of the box it was very obvious that this was not the successor to the FH9. Gone was the nice foam display, replaced by cheap plastic that felt like you were going to damage your new headphones by tearing them out of the plastic. Then in the hand they feel cheap. They are not the smooth metal construction of the FH9 but a light and cheap feeling material. The cable stands out though as they did not change it from the exceptional cable of the FH9 so yay there I guess. Now we hit the really bad part, the sound. To say I feel shattered and cheated would be an understatement. The FH19 is nothing like its predecessor the FH9 and feeling more like the FH7 (not a great product). At your lowest volume on your least demanding track they are ok. The mids are a standout feature and sometimes you get a hint that the bass wants to be more but then you are reminded that the treble is overpowering everything else going on. It is clinical and harsh without a touch of warmth that made the FH9 such an amazing headphone. As you add more volume it only gets worse as semblances take front stage and the entire presentation becomes congested. All in if you loved the FH9 and were looking for the next evolution for that amazing headphone please look elsewhere as this is not it.
