Made easy work of sectioning whole corn cobs
This is a excellent addition to any kitchen that doesn't already have a cleaver available. We love how easily it handles and effortlessly it was able to chop up the corn on the cob that we took to our daughter's school for health day. It is a very very nice kitchen utensil!

Wow! This is quite the cleaver/knife!
This is the first cleaver I have owned, and I sort of ordered this on a whim. Boy, am I glad I did! This is the sharpest knife in my drawer right now, and it feels so balanced and comfortable in my hand.So far, I have sliced tomatoes from my garden with ease. Home grown tomatoes have a tougher skin than store bought, and this cleaver sliced through with such ease. Thin or thick slices, it didn't matter, the knife just sliced through the skin so easily and did not squash or bruise the tomato. While this is not a small knife, it is still quite manageable. The whole cleaver/knife is very balanced and feels good in your hand. The handle looks great and feels great. This was packed in a nice giftable box. This is a fabulous cleaver/knife for an outstanding price.

My wife loves this knife!
This review is for the Nakiri Knife, Little Cook 7 inch Ultra Sharp CleaverWhen I saw the price they're asking, I didn't think that this would be as nice. It's great. My wife loves it. It's the right size for some serious chopping. It's very sharp. It has to be hand washed - no dishwasher. But it's easy enough to give it a good rinse after each use. This is a very nice knife and well worth the cost. This item was delivered promptly and was well packaged.Am I a satisfied customer? Yes Would I recommend this product to a friend? Yes.

Knife
This is a pretty nice knife for the price. It would be nice to know what the blade steel is. Since it's not listed one could presume something like 440A, which can actually be decent with a good heat treatment on an inexpensive knife. I haven't used it too much so I can't comment on blade retention, other than to say it hasn't gotten prematurely dull yet. I'll update this post if it does. It arrived moderately sharp. It did have a significant burr on one side that took a lot of honing with a really nice honing rod to get rid of. I do like the blade thickness and geomettry of this knife. The blade isn't unnecessary thick, so it's pretty light for such a large surface area which is nice. Being a larger blade, it obviously does have a little bit of weight to it still, which is expected. The handle is decent. It's a little slippery for my preference, but a lot of kitchen knives have slippery handles. They mention the "gift box" in the listing a few times. The packageing is nothing to write home about. This knife does cut pretty well, and it's nice for high volume chopping or slicing becauswbit can be used like a spatula to transfer items from the cutting board to wherever. For $20 it's a 4 star knife for the moment. I'll definitely use it more, but if given a choice, I would choose to pay $5-$15 more for something a little more well-established Babbish with a known blade steel.

Best $20 kitchen knife I’ve seen
No kidding, this is a really nice knife for an exceptionally low price. It’s got a sharp blade that’s got enough heft to it that it cleaved a rotisserie in half without breaking a sweat. Then it diced all the ingredients we had for a salad better than many chefs knives I’ve used.It has a weight forward balance with a bit of rocker on the edge of the blade. That makes it a fast chopper on your cutting board.Well finished, very comfortable wooden handle completes the package and makes this a knife you’ll use comfortably. You’ll be surprised at how good this knife is, especially considering it’s low selling price. It will be an excellent addition to anyones kitchen cutlery arsenal.Enjoy !

nice and sharp
nice and sharp and nice handle should last a long time if properly taken care of as in like no dishwasher and to use a honing rod on it from time to time.

I thought I knew sharp before I tried this...
It's difficult to impress me with the sharpness of a knife. I've been able to order and test several knives as a Vine reviewer and some have been average, while others have been what I thought as very sharp. This knife is alone at the top for sharpness and it created a new level by which I now will judge knives. I was amazed at how easily it cut through the chicken I was cutting up for a stirfry. The handle is very nice too. I have a new favorite and it looks cool.
