This will prevent them from receiving any moisture. Second, keep them in a cool dark place like a refrigerator, freezer, or fruit cellar. We recommend that you replace your Survival Vegetable Garden every 10 years, but some seeds will still germinate after a 25 year shelf life! What happens is that the germination rate decreases a little each year, so the fresher the vegetable seeds, the better.
