PROTREK Climber Line Radio Solar PRW-60-2AJF Men's(Japan Domestic Genuine Products)

Pros:Very good looking technical watch, my wife even likes the way it looks on my wrist.Features are good and easy to learn.Altitude accuracy is within 100 feet of what my Garmin GPS displays.The barometric pressure feature is cool, tracks incoming weather nicely.The dark blue face looks good, did I mention my wife likes it.Size for climbing and mountaineering is really nice, not too large and doesn't get in the way.The solar and radio timekeeping are very good, reception is good, although I live only 30 minutes South of Fort Collins , CO.The band is soft on the skin and attached very securely. I lost my last watch on a technical ridge when the band failed.Cons:This is the 2nd one I've received. The first one failed with the analog minute hand stopping, reason for 4 stars, had to send it back to Japan.Casio International warranty is questionable, since this is a domestic Japanese watch with 5 year warranty in Japan. Casio warranty is vague on applicability in States. Not sure the watch can even be repaired Stateside.Got the Asurion 4 year watch warranty as backup, so all is good.

I suspect this watch has a mineral crystal and not a sapphire crystal. I have 3 other protrek watches, each between 4-7 years old. Not a single one has a scratch, and I wear them everyday. This one got a scratch after about a week. Normal use.

Wonderful watch.illuminated screen is even better than prw 7000.But prw7000 is much better quality and dignity.Will keep both.Both from premium Japan.Very happy 😻Thank you

Casio Protrek watches the best in my watches line!

This watch is the love child of the Casio PRW3100 and the Casio PRW7000. I've owned both those watches and I can honestly say that it sits right in the middle. I owned the PRW7000 for a year and decided that although it was a stellar watch it was just too big for my 7 inch wrist. I purchased a PRW3100 and immediately fell in love with the size and how it looked on my wrist. The negative display was not my bag and I really missed having an analog watch. When I stumbled upon the PRW60 in my search it was love at first sight. In person the blue is just fantastic, the lume is great but the nightlight is not as phenomenal as the PRW7000. The functionalities are all there, although I could not find sunset/sunrise data or tide functions. I never used them so it didn't matter to me. The best part of this watch is the size...it is just shy of 42mm and for a 7 inch wrist thats my ceiling...It looks awesome on the wrist and I've got a lot of compliments on it. This model does not have the buttresses on the backside that all other models have. It has drilled lugs and you can swap straps on it. This is huge as previous Protreks required OEM straps and hardware. The silicone polymer strap is soft to the touch and feels really nice on the wrist. The strap is not curved like previous Protrek models and you can lay this watch flat on your nightstand. When the strap goes i'm looking forward to dropping a NATO on her....she's going to be a strap monster. All the functionalities are very intuitive and if you own any other Protrek there is no learning curve here. The stainless steel bezel is amazing to look at and i'm looking forward to the patina once she gets a few nicks in her. There is a black and red version of this watch that looks very sharp....that was my second choice if the blue was sold out. I love the color blue....and this watch is very blue so be warned. I like to wear my watches snug and this one fits very nicely. I was surprised at how light this watch was compared to the other 2 Protreks. I've had the watch for 2 weeks and so far I'm loving it.

10年来山行を共にした型が限界で、デザインの良いPRW6100系を購入。しかし。女性として手は大きい方ですが、どうにも邪魔でザックに付けっ放し状態に。じきにこのPRW-60系が発売され、6100を知人に里子に出し新規購入したという経緯です。　とにかくサイズが絶妙で気に入り普段も使っています。2AJFですが上品過ぎずカジュアル過ぎずのON・OFFイケる程よい地味感は（質感を期待してなかっただけに）結構なお得感があり大満足です。使い込んでいないので機能レビューはまだできませんが、昔の型よりボタン操作も幾分簡単になってる様子なので助かります。と、いっても全部使いこなせませんけどね！

山歩きを楽しんでいるおじさんです。EPSON wristable GPS watchとハイギアを所有していますが、山中での位置確認はiPhoneの登山地図を使用し、時計は登山中の高度確認にしか使いません。今回、普段使いの時計が壊れたのでこちらを購入しました。EPSONの方は普段使いはちょっと無理なくらい恥ずかしい大きさです。ハイギアは大きくもなく高度も正確で気に入っているのですがチープ感がにじみ出ています。このプロトレックは厚みもほどほどで見た目も高級感があります。小さいので普段使いでも違和感は全くありません。高度計しか使わないアウトドア派ならこれをお勧めします。

故障したデジタルのG-SHOCKからの買い替えで購入。この時計の良さは登山やキャンプ、バイクツーリング、ウィンタースポーツに使えることはもちろん、普段の通勤や買い物、冠婚葬祭にも使える万能なところだと思います。デザインがシンプルでカッコ良く、タフで正確。コンパクトですっきりした見た目ですが多機能です。特に良いのは気圧計で、気圧の推移がわかるのでおおまかな天気の予測に役立ちます。方位計もかなり正確です。温度計は残念ながら腕に着けていると体温の影響を受けるので、全く使えません。スキーにつけて行くと内部が曇るのも少し残念です。気になるのがせっかく多機能なのに1度にいろいろな情報を出せないことです。G-SHOCKのrisemanは時刻と西暦、日付け、気圧が同時に見れましたが、これは西暦わからないし気圧見ようとしたら日付けわかりません。西暦なんて見ないだろうと思われるかも知れませんが、ホテルにチェックインしたり飛行機や船に乗ったり、書類を書く際などに意外と今何年だっけ？となることが有るんです。そのくせ、今何モードになってるかを示すだけの要らないアナログ表示が常に左上にあります。今何を表示してるかはデジタル画面みたら一目瞭然なので、わざわざ少ない面積を割いて表示しなくていいと思います。何か多機能さをアピールするハイテクの見せ物のような押し売り感と言うか、一種のパフォーマンスのような厚かましさを感じます。あと、ずっとデジタルに慣れていたのでアナログ表示が見にくいです。デジタルに切り替えられますが、それだと日付け等は見えないし針で表示が見えないので地味にイライラします。一応モード切り替えすると、一瞬針が邪魔にならない位置に移動しますが、パッと日付けとか見たい時に丁度邪魔な位置に針がある時があります。若干、デザインのために実用性捨てた部分ありますが、日常にもアウトドアにも使えてタフでカッコ良く正確で大変気に入ってます。スマートで多機能な、万人に勧められる時計です。

5月25日AM指定でちゃんと届きました。配送業者皆さんいつもご苦労様です。PRW-60-2AJF メンズのブルーを購入したのですが、ぱっと見た感じは黒に見える程の濃紺でした、藍染めで染め過ぎちゃった感じです。逆に解りにくいかな(;^_^Aセンサーに付いては標高や温度計等が環境と違っていましたので、アリャリャでしたが、そこはちゃんと修正する機能も付いてますので、自宅にあるデジタル温度計に合わせたらその後は、+-0.2℃程度でちゃんと機能しています。方位磁石もスマホの方位計などと比べると比較にならない程正確です。とても良い品だと思いますが、バッテリーの寿命の改善と又、このサイジングのモデルで様々な物をCasioさんに頑張って提供して頂きたいとの思いから敢えて★4つにしましたが、商品的には★5つで大満足です。

マイナス気温の中、ウェアーの外から腕に着けていたら、ガラスの中が曇った。これは当たり前のことでしょうか？非常にガッカリしています。
