I bought this book for a student who is interested in getting in to Fashion. They love it, it has really helped with their understanding of how to draw a figure. It is a stylish book that explains the process of fashion drawing clearly. I would highly recommend it.

Purchased as a Christmas gift so unable to confirm if this item is the correct one requested. However, given the 'specifications' from the requestee I hope this book does the trick.

I am looking for a certain style of fashion drawing. This was not the style I was looking for.

I bought this book last month with the intention of just scanning it for a few "life drawing" tips. Even though the book is all about fashion illustration, the basic instruction on drawing the human figure is excellent. I am a non objective abstract painter and occasionally add into my work elements of the human body. I started to read the book and found myself going through it carefully and enjoying the journey of how one becomes a fashion illustrator. It is extremely well organized, clearly worded and wonderfully easy to follow and understand. A very practical source of pretty much most of the advice one would need to start up a career in fashion illustration. If you know someone who is interested in fashion illustration then give them this book as a gift..They will thank you. It will empower them to believe in their own possibilities and become a beloved resource book.

I can’t recall how I stumbled upon Danielle’s work, but I found it intriguing given that she was making such a strong effort to embrace tablets. She was the first person I discovered that put herself out there in this medium for all to see (a pretty daring move given the limitations of tablets at the time). I’ve since learned of her other work as an illustrator and a writer and found it all enjoyable as well as entertaining. Draw Fashion Now was a natural progression as I continue to follow this talented artist and to see what I can do with pencil and paper.

Took a course by this author on Skillshare and really loved it so I sought out this book. The author really explains fashion illustration from the basics to the advanced. Even for someone who just dabbles in art and knows nothing about the fashion industry, it was perfect. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in drawing. Great examples and templates for beginners!

The perfect guide to drawing fashion that is good for both beginner and experienced artists who are interested in drawing fashion or just want to sharpen up their skills. Lots of great information. The book is also beautifully crafted and designed. A pleasure to look at and full of useful info. Love it!
