I do like that they are keyed alike. I have 4 doors on my shed and didn't want to mess with a bunch of keys. Even though they are supposed to be weatherproof, I think weather resistant might be a better description. I always make sure the cover over the keyhole is closed but I'm seeing a bit of corrosion under the cover. So far, they're working fine.

We bought these primarily to secure the hitch on our boat/utility trailer both when hooked up to the hitch but also when not. We went out in the yard to move our boat the other day and found the lock like this. It was still locked. We can only guess that someone had taken a crowbar to it in an attempt to break it but it held strong. Yay. We still have our boat.

I like the rubber around the lock. Keeps from getting hot.

I ordered these locks for outdoor use, and they are perfect! They are 'rubber' coated, with a sealed cover over the key insert. The necks seem longer than the photo depicts, which works well.I was especially happy to order two keyed-alike locks with four keys - so helpful. The seller also notes he/she will key alike any number of locks for persons with that need.And they arrived EARLY!! How great is that?Very satisfied customer right here.....

Bought these a couple months the ago. We live in ND and it is winter. It's cold. We always keep the cover over the key hole. However, EVERY time we need to get in, the locks are frozen solid and we can't get the key to even turn. We have had to use a lighter to warm them up, use spray, etc, as we would be stranded somewhere, unable to open our trailer. It's great to have to stand outside in -20⁰ temps without gloves to attempt everything you can to get your own locks off. Ended up having to use a bolt cutter to get one off last week. Paid way too much for these for them to not work. The posts are already rusted also. Not impressed and it's past our return window now. 8 locks and $100.....down the drain. If you live anywhere cold, don't buy these. Useless.

I use these dozen on my dock for deck boxes, locking Seadoos and stuff. They are holding up just fine. I wish the shackles were a little bit wider. Probably is a model with that but finding the right combination of features on Amazon is a pain. But these work.

Obviously this is a great lock, but it didn't work for me. The stem wasn't long enough to go through the handle and anchor plate. Had to return.

Love that these came with 8 keys!! The long shank fits through our latches and makes for easy access. I have bought this set before and happy with them.
