Quality of product, effect on skin, clear instructions

Since I fancy myself a bit of a skincare snob, let’s get a few things out of the way: Can you get the same result with boiling water in a pot? Yes. Can you achieve this by running hot water in a sink? Maybe, but I don’t know what temperature your hot water heater is set to. Can you get the same result in a hot shower? That’s another topic about why your skin is dry…Oh, but the Colorfarm Facial Steamer? It does the job safely and at a reasonable price point. It provides a consistent, hot mist that unclogs pores and leaves your skin feeling refreshed and moisturized.And guys, use it before you shave—you can thank me later!

I use it daily because of blackheads and to open pores for cleaning. It’s easy to operate, gives good steam and is pretty silent.

Love this steamer! Really opens up my pores and heats the water quickly! Only downside, when I opened it I thought it kinda looks like a vagina, and now I can’t unsee that!

The media could not be loaded.  I'm pretty happy with this facial steamer. It's super easy to use, you just unscrew the cap on the cartridge fill it up, put the cap back on, drop it into the back of the steame,r and push the button. Within about 10 seconds you can hear the water heating up and within another 30 seconds, the steam is going full blast. I haven't timed the steam to see how long one full cartridge will last, but I'd estimate it to be about 30 minutes. My only minor complaint is that the cartridge on mine does leak a little when you turn it over but not terribly, so I just hold it over the well carefully before turning it over so the water falls into the well, or do it on a surface that won't be damaged by water. It does have a smell that I can only describe as a water steamer smell, like when you use the steam function in an iron. I don't find it off-putting but I think it's worth mentioning. I originally bought this to use while sick, the steam helps clear your sinuses and get rid of nasal congestion (temporarily) without medication. It can also alleviate chest congestion and help you cough out mucus. Works much better than some of the steamers meant for those purposes. This was the least expensive one that still had good reviews so I'm giving it five stars based on value and ease of use despite the minor issues of the leaking cartridge.

I bought this facial steamer for my daughter to help her clear up her skin. The steam is great for unclogging pores . It’s comfortable to use and it doesn’t burn the skin. We have also used this facial steamer when my daughter was sick. It helped her to breathe better. It’s similar to the old school idea of boiling water and sticking your face over the pot, but this is much safer. It seems to be made well, but then again we’ve only had it for a few months.

Easy to use and delivers a steady stream of mist.

Loved loved loved this for the first 4 months, and then it stopped working. There is a guarantee on the booklet that says full refund if not satisfied, so I am currently talking to the seller as we are outside of the return window through Amazon. Will update review once resolved.The water no longer heats up, it spits cold water and doesn’t hot steam. Didn’t change anything about the care of the machine, so not sure why this all of a sudden happened. I’ve only used pure filtered water too.
