Buy one every christmas, I love the advent feature breaking it down to 24 days or 42 pieces. The image is exceptionally crisp and clear with a high gloss finish, backs are numbered with the day so there's no mix up.

The first box I completed, there was a piece missing. Luckily, it was in box number 2. It is a well made jigsaw and all the pieces have neat edges. There were some that hadn't been completely cut through, which did cause the layers to separate when pulled apart. When being assembled, it's quite clear to see which ones don't fit, even in areas with similar colours. I did notice that some of the pieces would lift slightly when all were joined together in one area. They wouldn't completely come out, just not sit flat and had to be pushed back down.Usually, with jigsaw puzzles, it can be hard for me to keep focussed all the way through to the end. However, where the puzzle is sectioned, it makes the challenging areas a bit easier. The numbers on the back of the pieces correlate to the box numbers, which means it can be taken apart and used again as an advent calendar, with ease.

Looks well made, solid pieces. Wife wanted it as reminded her of the cottage in the film 'The Holiday'.

Great Christmas gift for a puzzle lover.

I hadn’t seen a jigsaw advent calendar before but I really the idea it is great alternative a typical advent calendar, more so if you enjoy doing jigsaws.I am unable to review it as a completed jigsaw because I am planning to do it in the run up to Christmas as intended. However I have opened the packaging had had a look. It comes in a good sturdy cardboard box with is nicely illustrated with the jigsaw design. The twenty four small individual boxes containing the jigsaw pieces slot perfectly into the box and are easily identified by the numbers printed on the boxes. Inside each box is 42 jigsaw pieces. They are quite small and the card feels firm and rigid and the edges are neat and smooth with no burrs. All the pieces have the number of the box they came out of printed on the back which is very handy if dismantling to pack away. Included is also a fold out poster of the jigsaw design to use as a guide.Overall the does look like a good quality well made jigsaw which will be fun to do. it would also make a really nice gift for someone who enjoys jigsaws and also likes Christmas. That rules me out then!

Original advent calendar in a form of a puzzle set. Very nice and pleasant.42 pieces are almost nothing to put together every day but in total the whole picture comes to a very nice 1000 pieces picture.Made well and little boxes should last several seasons easily of use with children.Would make a lovely gift to a child around 8-12 years of age or even an older one that enjoys these.Usually sells at a whopping £26.99 which is quite a lot in my opinion, but currently on sale for £17.81 (34% off) which makes it reasonably priced and definitely worth recommending.I think these will become a thing this or next season as it’s something just a little bit different to the usual calendar!

I love this idea. A small section of puzzle to do each day coming up to Christmas. Each one is individually packed and labelled in a nice box and each section joins to the last to make up the entire puzzle. I also love that it can all be neatly packed away into the individual boxes for use each year as the pieces are labelled on the back for easy identification. A lovely small and fun little puzzle each day that adds up to the whole completed picture.
