If you are not into reading books, this is great for when you take a break to sit down for a few minutes and relax. These stories are of real life happenings and will make you smile. Short enough where you will not be missed if you take a quick break away from your desk at work!!!! I love these books as there are books for everyone you know. Great gifts at Christmas time and co workers for the Secret Santa thing......I LOVE Chicken Soup for the..whatever...

Like all Chicken Soup for the Souls you will cry. Especially when you read the sad stories and look at your own son but the plus is you hold your children, family and friends a little closer and your heart is able to shake off a little of the daily grind that gets at all of us. I was reading a story about cooking with your kids while my own kids played at the park and when we left we stopped at a store and they picked out a baking project to share at home with each other while I watched and listened. I love the stories and the thoughts they give me.

I realize this is not the authors' faults, but wish to share this info with others who may be seeking audiobooks to play in the car: this mp3 does arrive on a disk, but it will not play in my auto's CD player.

Just got done listening to this one, and loved it. I have 2 sons, and one grandson, so I can relate to lots of the stories.

My single daughter really appreciated the insights these women shared.. I'm glad Santa dropped it off!

I bought it thinking it would be healing...well it is but I sure cried a lot....

Sent to niece as a Mom's Day gift who has 3 boys...ages 7,10 and 19!! Sure many of the stories she can relate to for sure.

I bought this book for a young mother and her two sons who lost her husband and their Dad at the age of 42. Good book with enlightening stories.

I saw this book at a local book store, and wanted to read some online reviews before I made my purchase. It is a very good book with a lot of great inspiration stories. However the book wasn't in a good condition when I received it. Quite a few pages corners were folded.

Felt it was a cheat book... Stories were excerpts from other chicken soup titles.. not very satisfied with the purchase
