Attracts moths, not as sticky as some
The media could not be loaded. I'm on the third generation of pantry moths, I think. And this is the second trap brand I've used. The traps are sticky, but not as sticky as the first traps I bought. The moths seems to be able to flutter across the traps for a centimeter or 2, leaving a trail. I don't think it decreases the stickiness much, as some moths have been caught in those areas in the first few traps I put out. These also have an odd area in the middle of all 5 that I've used, see photo, where some of the sticky gets pulled off with the cover paper. Again, some moths have been caught in these areas, but so far not as many as in the surrounding area. The moths are definitely attracted, as these have started to fill fairly quickly. I'm not sure if the window makes a difference as I've not seen a mouth ever enter a trap. It does cut down on the sticky surface area. Also, plan to check the traps and rotate the side that goes down every few days, as some sides seem to fill faster, and you want to catch as many moths as possible per trap.I like that it's 8 traps, because that many is needed. Four for the first generation, but it's too late once you realize there's a problem, there are already eggs laid heaven knows where. So for for the second generation, just put them out once the first ones are full. And you may need to do even more. Pantry moths can lay 200-500 eggs. They take a few days to 2 weeks to hatch. Then the larvae live several weeks to several months as they eat their way though your dry goods (look for fairly small holes in paperboard and plastic, and the webbing they make). Finally, they make little cocoons and hatch adult moths that live about 5-20 days. They'll start laying MORE eggs after about 3 days. For best control you've got to look at all your packaged food, toss infested packages, leans everything, even little crevices, with 50-50 vinegar and water solution, sometimes more than once, but that's to kill the eggs, otherwise here comes a bunch more!BTW, several sources says accidentally eating the eggs or larvae is not harmful, if that's any reassurance.

Great product!
These traps worked like a charm! Been dealing with these pests for some time now but notice each day less activity and see how many the trap caught. Highly recommend!

WORKS! I put them in a few places, didn't take long.
First time using something like this, and was easy to use no mess. unfold, peel the sticker and tuck the two ends into each other at the top forming a little tent, or just hang the flat part from a door or shelf. I felt a few tents here and there an within a day or two it filled up nicely! I guess the pheromones' worked well, because there was A lot more than I thought. I wanted to save some for later, but will use a few more if needed. I seem to be winning the war on these things.I approve. Sorry no photos, Usually I take a few, but didn't want to show dead creatures.A tad pricey for a working man like myself 30 bucks for 8, but I am not sure of cost of pheromones' or materials to give a real estimate of value on this one , but it works.Shieldeck Pantry Moth Traps with Pheromones Prime (8-Pack) - Pantry Moth Killer Indoor - Pantry Moth Trap - Pheromone Moth Traps for House - How to Get Rid of Moths in House (8, White) (8, White)Shieldeck Pantry Moth Traps with Pheromones Prime (8-Pack) - Pantry Moth Killer Indoor - Pantry Moth Trap - Pheromone Moth… 9/2/2024 $19.99

Not working for me
Moths have taken over my apartment. As an animal lover, I did not know I could hate an animal, and I have come to truly hate these creatures. All I want is them gone.I have tried basically every brand of moth traps out there with some success but the moths are seemingly invincible and still persist. So when I saw these available, I thought "why not, we'll see if they work better!" Unfortunately none of the 4 I have had placed around my home for several days have caught any moths, while other brands of traps have caught several. I'll update this review if they start to perform better, but I'm sorry to say that so far in my experience, they are not working at all.Update 09/27: These traps have still not caught a single moth for me. It seems they work for others, so I wonder if mine are defective.

They work well
These moth traps work well. We seem to get them in out house seasonally and they are attracted to these traps and get stuck. A must have if you get moths in your home. Well worth the price.
