As a retired surgeon, I have given numerous classes and lectures concerning biology and medicine. Recently, this has included a presentation to H.S. students with an interest in medicine. I believe in the show and tell type or presentation, for which this suture-tying practice board was most useful. As surgery residents many years ago, we used the exact boards from Ethicon. The basics are the same and perfect for practice and demonstration: two converging rubber tubes which approximate tissue tensions, and require practice to tie a secure knot as the separation between the tubes increases; the clear cylinder designed to place a one-handed tie or double one-handed tie down accurately within a confined space (common in surgery); and lastly, a hook for straightforward practice in various tie methods. Highly recommended.

This knot-tying board is exceptionally well-made and has surpassed my expectations. It's user-friendly, with ropes that are perfectly sized in both length and thickness for effective practice. The instructional videos have been incredibly helpful, and I've already seen noticeable progress in my technique since incorporating this tool into my routine.

The board is quite small and the ropes quite short. Not really impressed. Not saying it won't work, but I was a bit disappointed.

Great quality! Purchased this tie board for Physician assistant school and professors said it was perfect for our purposes! The only thing is I wish the string was slightly thinner (but that could be due to my bigger hands idk)

Nice practice kit and still very usable after hours of use, it could use a larger more stable base but it stores easily and isn't too difficult to screw to a larger platform if you have something laying around I just used a piece of scrap wood that I can put in my lap or on the table.

This is a useful practice board. Exactly as the Ethicon boards used to be. Sturdy, durable and excellent practice tool. Good price and well built , comes with a nice tote bag for storage.
