I Found It!
I have been looking for a less expensive RC car for a grandson that has good bumpers and will handle grass. It cannot cost a lot because he has a tendency to hit solid objects head on at full speed. (My RC car is now made of more epoxy and aluminum than original material.) If it can handle grass, he will stay in the backyard and not wonder out to the street. This truck fits our needs and more. He loves to play in water and this truck will even run upside down in water.I test drove the truck using probably ½” of one battery. I expected a 4wd all-terrain truck might be slow. Not so, this truck is quick, so quick he might be frustrated until he learns how to drive it. It is steered much like the way you control a track vehicle like a bulldozer. The left and right drive buttons have very short travel from stop to high speed, thus learning how to balance the 2 buttons so the truck runs straight takes some practice. The upside of this steering is that the truck can do a number of things he will enjoy. For example, slam one side forward and the other in reverse and it spins like a top without tipping over. The truck has a high center of gravity and a short wheel base, so it is prone to flipping, but with 4wd it righted itself numerous times. I did no count the number of times I did backward summersaults with it when slowing down in deep grass. Our lawn is cut to 2-1/2” and is relatively flat. At full throttle it flies across the grass. The truck only has a problem when the rear wheels sink in a hole. Given its power and short wheel base, when the front end is in the air without traction, the spinning rear wheels cause it to flip over backwards.Because the truck was built to also run in water the entire body and drive train is enclosed in a plastic shell except the nice front and rear bumpers---your base boards will love the bumpers and very soft tires. I assume most of the internal parts are also made of some non-metal material. The remote does not have an on off button, but the truck does. While not mentioned in the directions you do pair the two. After turning on the truck the on/off button blinks, press either button on the remote and they are paired and the blinking ceases. This truck is at a price point where I doubt this is a unique connection.I expect hours of fun before I will need to rebuild some aspect of it.

Awesome car
This car is so cool. The battery lasts forever and it’s easy enough to control that my three year old can control it himself. And it even swims in our pool! Yes, you read that correctly! It literally swims in my pool! The wheels work as paddles and they work kind of slowly but well. I just think this thing is so much fun.

Cute
Really durable only is top heavy and will flip a lot and stay on its back or side but really good on any terrain.

Quality Fun!
This monster truck was everything I expected! It has all terrain tires and man does it go! We played with it about an hour before the batteries went to sleep on us. It was easily recharged in about an hour. I got the green one and the monster truck similarities are great! The remote was easy for my grandson to use and fit in his hands nicely. It is well worth the cost and has held up to some rough and tumble rumbles with the 5 year old boy who plays with it all the time.

Durable and Fun
I got this car for my sons and they have had an absolute ball with it. The car is much sturdier than I had imagined, because they really gave it a workout. The big wheels make it very powerful and it even works on grass. I've seen it go over the side of the deck and not miss a beat. The only drawback is that it tips very easily and needs to be helped back on its wheels. Even when it's on its side, the wheels continue spinning and the car moves, just on its side. It needs a little push to get itself right-side up again. The car wheels sometimes continue spinning, even when the remote is not being touched. Overall though, this is a really fun toy that keeps the remote driver entertained. And it's super durable, which is a huge plus.
