This is such a comprehensive book! This book offers a good low potassium food list for kidney disease patients and they are so healthy and very nutritious! I would recommend this for kidney disease patients.

What I like about this book is the insights it provides into low potassium diet. The recipes and the food resources it provides makes for an easy adjustment to the diet with healthy and delicious food.

I really was looking forward to reading this book but was very disapointed when it did not include sodium content. For folks who have heart problems along with CKD needs that included. Otherwise we need to buy another reference book for sodium amounts in foods. Also, it would be better to have listed amounts in cups, tablespoons, ounces. The listing in Grams is not very handy unless you have a scale. Both ounces, cups as well as grams should be listed. Sorry I had to return this.
