Rather impressed with this item, it took about five minutes to install, took a little longer to realise I had to turn the "open" knob to closed so I could set the combination but that was a "Man thing" and will teach me to RTFM from time to time. Setting the code is simple (once you do the above) though I found the "setting key" a little flimsy and instead used a terminal screwdriver which was a lot easier. Overall, the product is a lot more sturdy than other key boxes, certainly a lot better that the wheeled ones which can tend to be easy to manipulate and so not as secure. Once everything is set up (and tested before closing), the product is very easy to use, there are very positive clicks to the keys so you know it has accepted the code. The product looks OK the black shroud makes it look nothing like a key box, just a huge black blob on the wall (not that huge). Not unappealing but then again you don't invest in one of these key boxes for its aesthetics do you. Nice product, reasonable price, good size, easy to operate hopefully reliable.

The safe appears to be high quality, solid feel, also coming with police accreditation gives a lesser worry on security of the keys . The push-button system on my safe is positive and works well. A nice touch is the waterproof housing but only time will tell on the overall durability of the safe and waterproof housing.

Expensive but quality, sturdy, water proof, well made unit with clear instructions. They recommend use of 8mm threaded bolts provided for fixing into brickwork however, although this fixing method is fine with engineering brick, it is less successful with commons as they have a tendency to crumble. Fix using rawl plugs and it will be very secure. Highly recommend.

Heavy and strong unit. The mounting bolts are larger and longer. Much better than the one I replaced. The Police Approved is a nice-to-have. The internals look more robust and less likely to go wrong. Mine did not come with instructions, but the Amazon web page had all the installation, operating instructions and the videos were surprisingly good. I needed a longer 5mm masonry drill bit. I like the urn handle release. Worth spending a bit extra for this unit.

Easy to install and a solid design. Setting the code was not difficult either. I got this to replace a cheap keysafe that was installed by the prior owners of our house which seemed a bit flimsy. It is a heavy item, but once on the wall this is comforting. While this was more expensive than many, I am glad I went for it as it really seems like a robust safe.
