Long bread - no problem
This toaster makes me very happy. You should get it.Here's my recent "toaster journey." My previous (expensive) toaster stopped working sometimes. Unpredictably and inexplicably. And then it would work again a few days later. I had to cut the ends off my bread machine bread (which is the staple in my bread box since the pandemic) but I rationalized that I'd save a few calories by wasting a sixth of all the bread I baked. Sigh.I finally gave up on it and ordered another one from Amazon. Its slots were even shorter than the expensive one. Its touchscreen controls (which were situated right below the toast lever, meaning you couldn't see them unless you happened to be 40" tall or shorter) felt cheap. And the settings always went back to their own default, not my default, if the power was removed. It had a countdown timer (why???) that felt like just another thing that was going to fail prematurely.Decided to get this for these reasons: long slots, simple analog controls, elegant appearance, high ratings, and good price. I'm happy on all accounts! The darkness setting is intuitive and consistent. The long slots accommodate the longest slice of bread out of my bread machine (without my having to cut it in half... I mean, I've got eggs cooking! I ain't got time for all that!) This toaster also handles the little tiny slices of cinnamon raisin bread that the 93-year-old lady next door buys me sometimes because I fix her computer. "Did you know Windows 10 support is ending?" she'll ask, about once a week. "Yes, I've been told that." The long slots, of course, accommodate multiple slices of more traditionally-dimensioned breads. Just remember to keep things as close to the center as possible for optimum toastification. The only thing I can't see a need for is the little rack that can be erected with the push of a lever above the slots. I guess I'll have to buy a beignet, or a scone, or a cruller, or some other kind of specialized bakery product to try that feature out. I don't know. I've never had any of those products so I don't know if they're good candidates.Get this toaster.

Still liking it!
We have purchased 2 toasters as gifts to adult children (no complaints), 2 for ourselves and 1 was returned prior to use. When fully functioning, this is an excellent toaster. Have had to return 1 at the 'testing' stage and before use because not all of the elements were heating up. No problem with toast being burned - but keep in mind when making multiple consecutive batches the heating elements are already hot and the toast level needs to be reduced slightly to avoid over-toasting. Also, beyond bagels, different types of bread require different toast times, it all depends on bread content variables and freshness so adjust accordingly. We had to replace our first toaster because someone (not me, LOL) had re-toasted a slice 'for just a second', forgot, and forced the lever up manually instead of using the cancel button because of burning toast and we believe it broke the magnet that holds the lever down. Before this, the lever stayed down and worked appropriately. Lesson learned - use the timer always! That's why they have the cancel option - or just unplug if urgent. Also with our first toaster one of the slots no longer worked because our son broke the elements trying to retrieve a small gluten frozen pancake. Definitely operator errors so we are trying again. But back to the frozen pancakes - the inside wire slots are about 1-1/4" apart and allows smaller crooked frozen waffles/pancakes to sometimes get caught between the slot and the heating elements and the food then kind of bakes permanently wrapped in between the wires and are hard to pull out. Hopefully, in their next update, they will reduce the slot distance to IDK maybe .75"? In the meantime, teaching kids to be careful when using with bent frozen pancakes and waffles. Also, I had to use a white sharpie to fill in the hole on the temperature dial to make it easier to see when setting. We all want a $10 toaster but can't dial back time, so the current price is reasonable given the other options.

This toaster ROCKS!
This is the all-time favorite toaster we have ever had. It toasts evenly, the crumb tray is easily cleaned, the toaster accommodates sourdough large bread slices and we just love it! It looks like a spaceship, but if you use the proper setting then it toasts your sliced bagel, but the top and bottom of it stays soft.

Good toaster
It’s a pretty good toaster, slim and yet large. The only problem I have with it is the ejection power of the toaster. It shoots the toast out so hard half the time it flys out and lands on the counter. Which is pretty annoying. But for the price and size it’s pretty good.

Works great, and looks great!
Love the toaster. Better quality than I expected based on the price. I love how it’s slim so it will fit anywhere and not take up a lot of space. Love it! Just buy it!! You won’t regret it

Perfect for odd shaped breads/attractive
Great toaster for my favorite rye bread. No problem fitting the slices in the slots. Toasts well and I like the placement and the variety of control buttons. Also very attractive on the counter.I recommend this toaster.
