The Art of Zootopia

I wanted the real brand name not the EU one - Zootropolis , so was lucky to find the Zootopia artbook on amazon!Overall, excellent book, recommended for artists/fans of the film. I personally bought it for both reasons, a good inspirational guide on character and world design. It is a worthy purchase and something to add to the collection of books of inspiration. Disney always know how to make good character designs.The book covers various aspects of how they begun the drafts of the common characters used in the film, and also some characters that were not used, including city locations that are not included in the movie. This shows an insight on how big the project of this movie really was.

A beautifully crafted book showing the development and final results of character and landscapes for this film. Gives a good insight on how they worked to try to balance the story and how they thought about how each animal type could work together. Even down to the body armour types

Beautiful book - full of information about the specific design decisions for characters and locations, colour sketches and drawings from different illustrators, and early ideas which then materialised into other aspects of the film. I'd definitely recommend getting the hardback copy, I've heard there have been issues with the Kindle version.

Lovely book with a pretty thorough insight - it's got a lot of pages - of the concept and design art for Zootopia. Anyone looking for stills from the movie will be disappointed, but that's not the point; the artistry of the designers and storyboarders for the film is celebrated here and it is really excellent. A lovely book.
