These are surface mountable(simple screws on two ends), which means they can be installed just about anywhere. This is a big plus.There's no additional driver. No additional box. The back panel has two wires and you hook them to the mains. Thats it.Considering that most CFLs start to dim after a while, I was looking to move to LEDs for my new home. This one was at the right price point(apx. 900 INR), has a sleek flat design and made this decision to move all the more practical. There's so much light, you'll find it hard to believe.I own both the yellow and white versions and both have left me mighty impressed. My entire house has been running on these for 5 months now. 5 stars.

I have just ordered two pieces of these, Natural white(4000K) and warm white(3000K) colours. The light is not so bright as advertised 1800 Lumens. It's a little brighter than my Philips 14W, 1400 Lumen LED. The led dome is slim(<2 cm) and has two screws at two ends to fix it. The package included the screws and plastic plugs to fix the lamp on wall. I have tried opening one of these and discovered that the board is a matrix of some 140 LEDS inside a single lamp. The driver chips seems to be soldered down to the board. Another thing i noticed is that the ICs used in manufacturing are branded CORVI itself. The whole product seems to be designed by the CORVI. The build quality is not top notch like Philips, i can see a few imperfections in manufacturing process. The dimensions of the product is roughly 6 inches, this can easily cover your existing bulb holder box. The product is manufactured in India which makes me believe that this is an Indian brand. Also i could see a IP56 certification for water resistance. But i don't think that the product is suitable for areas where there there is a chance of water falling on the dome. About the warranty, i am not sure how can i return the product and get a replacement. Nothing as such is mentioned in CORVI website.If you are confused between the colors, go for the Natural white color. It is almost close to sunlight. The light color will look appealing to those who are used to halogens and fluorescents. The warm white version light is identical and almost close to a normal bulb. Brilliant little LED light, super bright and very nicely built and put together. Reeks of quality, and the best part is that it is made in India, unlike the cheaper quality Chinese imports used by even companies like Wipro and Philips.I have checked almost all LED lighting products available and this brand seems to be a cut above the rest. Warranty is 5 years vs 1 year from Philips and all the lights are dimmable without costing extra for it, also the LED driver and components seem to be higher end and cutting-edge as the output is around 120 lumens per watt, whereas most of the mainstream products barely output 70-90 lumen per watt.

An excellent product!I have used it for about a month or so -ideally should be ceiling mounted.Its easy to mount on two screws is light weight unlike other similar options which are bulky need a clip to be mounted to hold the assembly.It is sufficient for a 12x14 room and offers more light than a 23w cfl.Avoid mounting it on side walls in small rooms as it turns out to be much stronger than the florescent tube n is harsh on eyes.Is a quality product from the look and feel and the powerful light it offers for the wattage.Has two years warranty on the product &considering the claims of 15 to 20k hrs life span ,even if one uses it for 8hrs per day it will last over 5 years.&most important factor is it is Hg free and will save on electric consumption so good for the environment & saving in power bills over the years.This addition is post an experience of 1 yearWith all good features of the light , my first installation got burnt in little over a year - sharing my experience so far,1. Of all good brands being used this light got burnt in little over a year.2. In Delhi NCR their dealer refused any help despite of the prouduct being under warranty.3. It took multiple calls to their mumbai office to request for the replacement .4. They arranged to pick up the light thru courier and which was done.5. A month and half after being picked up and multiple follow up calls the light is yet to be replaced.Despite of good looks, great output, sound built and promise of 50000 hrs of illumination - it looked as a great value for money. However the first installation failing ( and unfortunately post initial good experience I have many more installed) & getting burnt, while rest of the lights were working fine - this poses quite a risk as it is full plastic & its getting burnt for can generate toxic fumes.I will advice caution while using such lights in closed rooms.IF the claimed product quality is so good any replacements should be in done in a defined time line ( My experience with Philips When their bulb failed with in the warranty, It was replaced with in 48 hrs - amazing !) Whereas corvi does not seems to have a process in place !Exercise caution while using their products and therefore it loose 4 stars n gets down to one !1. Chasing the co does not work.2. They just have one customer care no which they do not pick up at all ( try calling this no on their web site 9920260260 this is the only customer care no ).3. E mail are not responded to , with the tall claim of 5 years warranty this co is fooling the customers.4. Recommended to avoid the buying this brand .

This light is simply fantastic in a small closed space like a bathroom. I wouldn't recommend it for larger spaces as the intensity and throw isn't quite enough. This light is extremely sleek and given the minimal power consumption, 2 lights per bathroom would give you a well lit bathroom. Would I recommend it? Yes, yes and yes many times over.One suggestion though, this light may not work well as a wall light but is perfect for ceilings.

Product failed fairly quickly in under 18 months. One of the lamps has a dimmed output. Not sure if lifetime warranty is applicable
