Installed and works perfectly in my 2017 Subaru Forester Touring 2.5l. PLEASE CHECK AND MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE CORRECT PIN CONNECTION OR THIS WON'T WORK. Don't write a bad review because you didn't check. I had to remove the EyeSight cover which had the connector that connects to the auto dim mirror. Good Luck

I don’t understand why vendors don’t supply instructions. It isn’t that complicated but I’d like to make sure I’m doing it right. I’ll play with it tomorrow and I’ll see how it works out

This adapter will only work with mirror garage door opener, i try to connect with the door led 5 pin connector, it does not power up my dash cam, I try to connect with another 5 pin with the garage door opener it work right away.Bonus tip: some people saying the easy way to connect with the windshield mirror garage door opener, I have try it but that is 10pin, but this adapter is 5pin. Therefore if you want the easy way you will need to purchase the adapter with 10pin instead.See photo for your reference.

Seems like a nice product, but does not fit a 2020 Subaru Ascent with eyesight and automatic rearview mirror.
