Great Mixer - Some tips on use...
I've had this mixer since 2021. That's also the last year I bought bread from a store (outside of sourdough, but finally figured that out last year...). It makes making bread go so much faster (I did it by hand before). And it can handle heavy dough. I make a honey wheat dough that is heavy! (Makes 2 loaves and 6 dinner rolls) Mixer gets it through about 95% of the process. I have to pull it out and kind of knead for a minute after because it tries to climb out of the bowl at that point. To speed up the process between batches (I usually do several doughs in one day) I bought an extra bowl and crank drive.Anyway, I love this mixer. I want to address the common issues in the bad reviews.-SLIDING DOUGH/STICKING TO HOOK- there is a learning curve when it comes to order of operations. The FIRST time I used it, I had the sliding problem since I added the dry ingredients first and then added wet to them. Seems to work best by putting in the wet ingredients first and then the dry (half a cup at a time). And then speeding up the paddle as the dough gets thicker to kind of 'fling' it off the hook for kneading. If it's going too slow, it will just spin on the hook. Additionally, if there is too much flour, it will slide because there is no friction. I've been able to adjust by adding a few drops of water.-COOKIES - yeah, I don't really use it for cookies that often. But it would be best to use the dough hook for cookie dough. The cookie paddles can't handle it. Maybe if they were metal instead of plastic and just smaller versions of the dough hooks...but alas....-SMALL BATCHES - it doesn't do well with small batches (like one loaf of bread). This isn't a problem for me since I'm not going to pull out a mixer and make one loaf of bread. For loose mix like cake, batters, pie filling, the bowl scraper attachment is genius.-OVERHEATING - Have NOT had this issue. Even with my heaviest dough. I run it about 15-20min during the process. It might just be the luck of the draw on that one.-PARTS THAT BREAK - I haven't had any breaking parts. But that's because I read the bad reviews before I bought it. The whip drive I have is metal, not the plastic one. I don't use the cookie paddles at all. The whisk paddles should be used with whisking things (cream, eggs, butter...). No issues with the cake paddles. I have a back up crank drive since I've seen that those break, but the original one is still going strong.CLEANING - as this was my first mixer, the cleaning process seems fine to me. But I hear the KA mixer is easier. Hot water, soap, a straw brush (The ridges in the bow) and it's clean for me.

Fantastic Customer Service! Even when not needed.
My new mixer arrived in time for Christmas cooking. I bought the baker's bundle because I cook lots of cookies and cakes for my friends and family. The Baker's Bundle included cake paddles, cookie paddles and a bowl scraper. The lid opens up so you can add ingredients. It is easy to clean and nice looking. It is compact and takes up very little space on the counter. I needed a lighter mixer since lifting my old stand mixer is getting too much for me. This is not much lighter but is easier to handle. When I first tried the extra bowl scraper attachment that I bought, I could not get it off. In a fit of rage, I left an ugly email - it was a weekend and I was fuming that I could not get any Christmas cooking done. I had foolishly gave my old mixer to my sister prematurely. In the meantime, I settled down and removed the attachment and restarted my cooking tasks. Still in bed, early Monday morning, my email beeped. Nutrimill was shipping me a new mixer! I jumped out of bed, called them immediately and said NO! They laughed with me and said they would cancel the shipment and forgive my crazy. I say GREAT Customer Service!

Powerful Mixer with Outstanding Customer Service
After experiencing ongoing issues with our old KitchenAid mixer, especially when working with whole wheat flour, we settled on this Nutrimill mixer after reading reviews and comparisons. So far, it’s been a game-changer for our baking! This mixer handles everything we throw at it with ease, from heavy doughs to more delicate tasks, and hasn’t shown any of the struggles our previous mixer did.By the way, Nutrimill has exceptional customer service. I had a small issue with the driveshaft, and they went above and beyond. If you’re looking for a powerful, reliable mixer with great support behind it, I highly recommend this one.

Necessary for my baking needs
This is the most expensive kitchen appliance I have ever purchased. I saw it being used on cooking channel and was impressed by the performance. I liked the revues so I decide to give it a try. The weight, the suction ability, the capacity and the fact that you can see what is going on in the bowl without having to stop the machine and lift the top. I made a batch of cookies first thing and i was impressed. Noise level is low, its almost absent. This is a very good machine for a person who like me have problems with their wrists and problems lifting heavy items. For me this was a necessity. I will update this review in a few months.

Power
This item is a powerhouse. I use it for bread making daily. It can handle 6 pounds of dough. My Kitchen aid could not, the motor did not have enough power. I also love the open top design. It makes baking do much easier and fast.

OK for bread but not for cookies
After researching for days I ordered the NutriMill Artiste but only in using it did I find it was unsuitable for me. It was ok for bread making, albeit hard to clean compared to KitchenAid, but for cookies it was a waste. Even with softened butter the cookie paddles couldn't handle cookie dough. The metal whip drive would pop off the post having no mechanism to lock it in place. At that point I maybe you're supposed to change to the dough hook but what a waste and mess. If you start with dough hooks, it just pushes the butter around the bowl. So disappointed. I sent it back.
