Diesen Akku benutze ich um eine Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K abseits von Steckdosen mit Strom zu versorgen. Damit hält die Kamera mehrere Stunden durch. Der innere Aufbau ist ordentlich und wie erwartet: Eine Paket von 6 18650 Standard Akkus und Ladesteuerung. (s.h. Fotos.) Einziger Nachteil aus meiner Sicht: Dieser Akku kommt mit einem eigenen Ladenetzteil auf dem 12.6V als Spannung angegeben ist. Ob sich der Akku auch mit Standard 12V Netzteilen laden lässt habe ich nicht probiert.

This is an excellent power-pack. Bought primarily for the 12-volt DC output, (so for me, the 5-volt USB output could be considered as something of a bonus, which may come in handy at some stage). The unit provides a significant and prolonged 12volt DC output when fully charged, giving many times the normal battery life of the standard internal batteries in the vintage GPS units for which it was bought. Build quality is perfectly adequate. - Not overly engineered, but definitely not flimsy! Note that in order to successfully charge the unit (via the supplied 13amp wall-plug style charger), the battery unit must be switched on. Charging will not take place if the unit itself is switched off! The instructions suggest a charge time of approximately 6-hours, but this is decidedly optimistic, and a full charge cycle (from almost empty) will take considerably longer!!! (Not a particular problem in my usage case). Note also that when the unit is correctly charging, the LED on the wall-plug charger will be lit red. - Upon completion of charging, that LED turns green. There are five very small green LED's on the actual unit itself, and some or all of these will be illuminated, depending on the state of charge. (When all five are lit, the unit will be almost fully charged). Those five LED's also show state of charge information when the unit is actually in use, providing power. Perhaps worth mentioning that during charging, the wall-plug charger gets quite hot, and maintains a level of "hotness" that was initially somewhat concerning. However, after having had several charge cycles, the hot temperature of the charger is now expected as the norm. (I would never leave it on charge somewhere unattended though - just in case!!!) All in all, a nicely functioning power-pack which does exactly what it says on the tin!
