Carrageenan Is Causes Inflammation!
When I purchased this product, I did not notice that it has carrageenan in it! There are very few things that are a must avoid like carrageenan, especially if you are trying to reduce inflammation. They use it in labs to trigger inflammation so they can see how well other things reduce inflammation. Honestly I don't understand why the manufacturer would use it: 1) most people taking CoQ10, especially with fish oil, have health problems that are directly linked to or aggravated by inflammation; 2) those things include heart and vascular health, which they specifically mention in their advertising; 3) carrageenan is a thickening agent so it is completely unnecessary in a softgel like this. None of the other Qunol products are made with it! Very frustrated, wish I could still return it. That's what I get for not reading a label thoroughly.

No more Qunol - just read the label.
I've made a trivial mistake trusting brand name by default and not checking things all the way, while ordering refill from Amazon - I thought it was the same product, but apparently it wasn't. To my great surprise, amazingly (in a bad sense) Amazon version of the same exact product has a different content compared to Costco version - specifically, at least, it adds food colorings #5 and #6. I wonder if that alone accounts for some problems I started experiencing around the time I started using Qunol purchased here - speaking of defeating the purpose.Long story short, after discovering this I threw away half-used bottle of this stuff and purchased something cleaner. My advice: keep vigilant getting as much information about products you consume, as you can possibly find.No more Qunol for me, ever.

It works for me
I bought this because I had heard rave reviews about CoQ10 for those taking cholesterol statins helping to promote the reduction of cholesterol and ease the muscular issues with taking those drugs.Well, I be darned.......all my research proved true and that this a is the best and fastest absorbing brand. It seems to give me a bit of an energy boost as well.I will not post an actual copy of my test results for confidentiality for myself and the medical facility. My cholesterol has been consistently 200-250 for many yearsMy HDL has been consistently right at 30 for many yearsMy LDL has been consistently about 220 for many yearsMy Triglycerides have been consistently 310-360 for many yearsUsing only a low dose (20mg) statin for many years, my cholesterol only reduced because I switched to a no meat/low carb diet. That produced a cholesterol result of 225. I was frustrated because there was no help for all the other values. After taking this company's Curcumin and CoQ10 capsules 2x per day with 500mg Flaxseed, 500mg Fish Oil , and the same low dose (20mg) statin over the past three months, my results are now:Cholesterol 126Triglycerides 163LDL 52VLDL 62HDL 40I got roughly these same numbers 3x on different days from different laboratories.

This works for my Husband; he likes it!
This supplement fills several of my husband’s medical needs. My husband regularly experiences Hemiplegic Migraines; these migraines present all the same symptoms as a Stroke and leaves one with all the same after-effects.This similarity of symptoms can cause a lot of confusion with medical personnel during emergency situations as the treatment for symptom alleviation are exact opposites. One of the medications for reduction of head pain in a Stroke will cause a brain aneurysm in Hemiplegic Migraine sufferers. Oops!Several of my husband’s neurologists have suggested that he take, at a minimum, 800mg of CoQ10 three (3) times a day to alleviate his migraines. This is in addition to the high doses of several other daily supplements that he is already be consuming on a regular basis. By his taking of this dosage (800mg 3x a day) his migraines have significantly reduced both the severity and in the frequency of their occurrences. Each of his migraines would last anywhere from 3-4 hours up to several days of incapacitating pain, temporary blindness, and the loss of sensation and ability to manipulate one side of his body, and he was having 10-15 of these in any one month; and taking this dosage of CoQ10, 800mg 3x a day, he only experiences mild headaches accompanied by some minor tingling and numbness a couple of times a month. Our Doctors have told us that they would be happy to prescribe this for him but, as it is a ‘supplement’ they are not allowed, by law, to prescribe it.I realize that is only anecdotal evidence, and thus would require both a medical expert and a pharmaceutical researcher to analyse my story for its accuracy, but I know what I have witnessed him experiencing over the past several years. The only two issues we have with ordering your Ubiquinol is that it seems to take so long to process and mail it out to us, I wish it was faster; and we both wish you sold a higher dosage of it, at 12 caplets a day and 90 gel-caps per bottle, we need to order four or five bottles a month, quantities you don’t seem to always have available for some reason. Other than these minor issues, we are happy with the Qunol Ubiquinol you supply.Thank you.Have a great day!

A good value
As a long time heart patient I have taken a lot of Q 10 and fish oil this is a good value for this combination and strength. Since I take several brands every day and have been for twenty years there is no way I can tell if this does anything different. It is a good deal though. I am a big believer in the value of taking q10 and some other supplements if you have any kind of heart problem or even if you don’t it is a no brainer. For your 200 mg is a low dose
