Yes. You should get it.
Honestly it's the best monitor I've ever owned, I cannot go backwards after owning this, I'd hate myself. It was a tossup between this and the Asus ROG Dual OLED, I went for this simply because after researching both I liked it's aesthetic more. Saying that, it's absolutely fantastic. By far the best monitor I've ever used or owned. It's stand is weighty and extremely supportive, it's range of motion to adjust is incredible and it's actual display is jaw dropping. Now I use both moses, some might buy this and find them self not using both much, but not me. I use the 1080/480 frequently for competitive titles and it's incredible. I've never felt a monitor this responsive before and I can never go back. What is extra impressive is just how responsive it still feels and looks at 4k/240 which is what I use to daily driving or playing more intensive games, it's incredible. Glorious picture quality, excellent response times, not a colour out of place. Like every monitor you will need to adjust it to preference and your rooms natural light, but I've had zero issues with glare even in full daylight, no issues with colours being over saturated or washed out, zero issue with it's brightness. Honestly, its a perfect monitor and I'm 100% satisfied with my purchase, which isn't something I usually say when it costs as much as this does. Incredible piece of technology.

The perfect OLED monitor - and it matches my white setup!
I love this monitor. The 34” curved screen is the perfect size — big enough to feel immersive, but still practical for daily use. The 1440p ultrawide resolution is ideal: sharp, detailed, and great for both gaming and multitasking. Having the extra width makes such a difference whether I’m racing, working, or just watching films. The OLED panel is incredible. True blacks, vibrant colours, and contrast that makes everything look alive. Night racing especially looks unreal — you can see details in the dark that you’d never notice on another screen. The clarity and smoothness together really set it apart. Gameplay is ridiculously smooth, and both G-Sync and FreeSync work flawlessly. It makes everything from competitive shooters to sim racing feel instant and fluid. The fact that the monitor is white is a big deal for me — it matches my setup perfectly, and even the cables are white, which makes the whole thing look so much more polished. Every little detail feels considered, and it makes a difference when you care about your setup. For me, this is the perfect monitor — stunning to look at, amazing to use, and clearly designed with attention to detail.

Solid and Elegant Design, High Quality Monitor
I was looking for a monitor that would be a perfect hybrid between gaming and video editing. LG UltraGear turned out to be great quality equipment - solidly built, with high-quality materials, looks great on the desk - you can move the screen in multiple directions (up-down, left-right, tilting, which is super handy). The image is sharp, and colours look great. I'm not going to lie, once I swapped from my 15.6'' laptop for the first 24 hours, looking at the screen was a shock to my eyes and nervous system, but once I adapted, there was no turning back to the smaller screen.

Good Monitor, Be cautious of the seller
The monitor is very good. I purchased for £889 and it is exactly what you would expect for this price point with the size, refresh rate, response time, and pixel density. it has great options for preventing burn in and other options. I am rating one star to beware if the seller is "electronic empire". They do not abide by UK Consumer laws and will threaten fees for any returns. You should consider buying through an alternate seller

Superb monitor for gaming, ok for work, nice to use OSD and full burn-in protection
This is an incredible monitor. I tried both 34 inch and 39 inch. Settled on the 39. For gaming 10/10 the additional size over 34 inch is hugely immersive. For work it's a 8/10 because of the lower DPI which does make some text a little harder to read. The OSD is easy to use and has great built in features for anti-burn-in and it remembers settings for each port used so I can have brighter HDR for Display Port and switching to HDMI for work laptop automatically changes to my lower brightness reading mode. The only negative for me is the aggressive curve. I'd prefer 1800r. Sometimes when moving in a game like an RTS left or right, I can easily notice a weird fish-eye lens effect because of the curve, or trying to view something that's straight and it looks bendy. That may just be because I came from a flat monitor so I just need to get used to it. It's definitely a lot more immersive though! Overall really superb screen with great colours, all the modern OLED features, and at a really great price.

Amazing images, but smaller than you realise.
If you're new to ultra widescreen monitors, there's a couple of things you need to be aware of. 1) This is basically an extra wide 27" monitor. 34" is a little miss-leading as it's the same screen depth as a 27", and as many applications don't utilize the extra width, you're going to be in for a shock at how small text & video is if you're used to a larger 32" 16:9 monitor as I was. 2) Not all games are compatible with extra widescreen. Some games that are a little older will either have black lines at the sides of the screen, or have to be played 'full windowed' mode, which makes the viewing area even less than 27". This can be very frustrating. The monitor itself is actually very good. The picture quality is on another level to my previous Samsung Odyssey G7 (which was one of the best gaming monitors at the time). The extra contrast of the OLED screen creates more vivid & richer colours making games look more life like, and 240fps means games run very very smooth! For games that do support the extra width, it enhances the gaming experience. Having a wider horizon feels so much more natural, that you quickly forget it's only a 27" monitor at heart. For this I can't fault it. The extra width is great for productivity too. Having 2 or 3 windows open side by side is way more practical than opening windows on top of windows. The only real negative is the flimsy toggle switch that controls everything from menu and settings to turning the monitor on & off and changing inputs. I'm running two PCs on the monitor so I switch inputs regularly & I'm not sure how long it's going to last (the issue with my Samsung G7 was the toggle switch eventually faulting). Placing the toggle switch around the back of the monitor isn't exactly ideal either. Reaching underneath, between cables & feeling around the back soon becomes annoying. It does have very thin borders on all 4 sides though, so maybe it was designed with being part of a multiscreen display in mind? This would explain why the toggle switch is 'out of the way' on the back, so I'll give LG the benefit of the doubt on this one. If you're already used to a 27" monitor then this is an amazing gaming experience which I can't fault. If, however, you're used to a larger screen like I was, maybe consider sizing up?

LG is the best
The LG UltraGear gaming monitors offer excellent performance with high refresh rates, low response times, and great color accuracy thanks to their IPS panels. They’re ideal for fast-paced gaming and support both FreeSync and G-Sync, ensuring smooth visuals with minimal tearing. However, HDR performance is limited, and contrast isn’t as deep as OLED or VA panels. Some models can also be quite expensive, especially the 4K or ultrawide versions. Pros: • Very smooth gameplay (144–240 Hz+) • Accurate colors and wide viewing angles • Modern design and solid build quality Cons: • Average HDR and black levels • High price on premium models Verdict: LG gaming monitors deliver excellent speed and visuals for serious gamers, though their HDR and contrast could be better for the price.

Spectacular Gaming Monitor
I love this monitor! Stunning screen with deep pure blacks thanks to the OLED and the curve makes games even more immersive. High quality materials and an extremely easy build process tops this monitor off nicely.
