Lets just start with, i just purchased this product and have only used it for 10min. In that time I have marked 3 boxes of balls with my prefered ball mark 180 deg thin line, lined up with the balls short alignment line. Fantastic product, I have used every type of golf ball line stencil and this is my favorite. It's easy to align, fast, simple and robust. If you like a simple very straight line on your ball, it's worth the few dollars more over the finicky plastic stencils. No readjusting to get a longer line. No breaking sharpies trying to spin it around the ball. The thickness of the line is set by you not the stencil. I bet this one won't break in my golf bag when it get put in the trunk. Great product glad to took a chance on a product with no reviews.

I like it. It won’t get damaged

After snapping the various plastic marking tools, this one is worth the money. Solid metal, holds the golf ball securely, and works very well.

It works. Just the right height to allow the ink to meet the midline of the golf ball. Makes an easy circle around the center.

The golf ball marker is a very solid piece of equipment to add to the golf bag. The golf ball fits perfectly into the top and will allow you to draw a line all the way around the ball or just as far as you want. The one thing is that it if you are going to draw a line all the way around, it is a little awkward to make sure the ball does not move when doing so. If you are only drawing a partial line, this is not an issue. Maybe it is because I have short, fat fingers, but either way, it is a little challenging.

The line that it drew was not quite bisecting the ball in the geometric Center. It was a little off so I was constantly looking to see if I had the ball lined up right or not. The last thing you need when you're looking over your pot is another distraction. I sent it back

That is all it does.There are lots of other products that let you draw a line or even parallel lines, along with angled lines to the circumference (although I still have not figured out why you would want those.). They are generally cheaper, and lighter weight than this item.I'm not sure why you would want to carry this around with your golf bag, when you could just as easily pre-prepare a bunch of balls at home and not have the extra weight/space of this, but in any case, you can attach it to your bag with its string.I note that the label says "American Owned Company" and then in smaller font "Made in China". I suppose that is of value to some people.This is not my favorite solution for golf ball marking in that it is heavier, and not as versatile as others.
