Tamiya Models British Infantry Tank Mk.Iii Valentine Mk.Ii/Iv 1/35

The link and length tracks are an easy fit, better than I expected. Follow the assembly sequence on the instructions and they fall into place. Has good crisp detail and some tiny parts but not enough to frustrate. It is a small kit as the Valentine was not a big tank. The figures of the commander and loader look a little small compared to DML and Master Box figures. A good kit for an uncommon subject.

Arrived earlier than promised. The detail and parts fit are excellent and I am looking forward to painting and weathering. It's a great kit for both the beginner and experienced modeler.

Great Tamiya engineering

It's a good size kit, looks great when painted. The track took some time but it's worth it. Good looking model, goes well in my collection.

Nice model just a bit more expensive than similar tanks.

Great quality again from Tamiya, ease of fit , good detail and excellent engineering. Very pleased with this kit.

So this is a good kit, but not 'classic' Tamiya but one of remodelled moulds they bought out from Italieri, so not quite as good as it could be. The actual 'moulds' are fine, but lack some of the 'whole' for locating pieces like grab rails and the like. It also features individual track links which need to be assembled rather than the 'poly' trck types. It's a bit fiddly but okay I suppose. I also found the idler wheel assembies a bit tricky as the instructions weren't as clear as they could be.Otherwise it's a good kit!
