Great buy!
This is an attractive watch with automatic movement, unidirectional bezel, exhibition case back and screw down crown. I think I read somewhere that it has a 40 hour power reserve, but I keep it on a winder, so I cannot confirm that. My only complaint is that the dark center links of the bracelet have spaces between them (I'd like to see a tighter design). However, the bracelet incorporates screw pins (rather than cotter type pins) which is a feature one sees on higher quality timepieces and makes sizing much easier. Just make sure you don't drop one of the tiny screws as I did. They are a bear to find on smooth flooring and will disappear forever in carpeting. Supposedly this watch retails for $3,195 and I would not have paid that price. I paid a little over $400 and am very pleased with my purchase.

GEVRIL NOT SO PERFECT UPDATE 7/30/2018
Since when is a Gevril watch worth less then a GV2 Made by The Gevril Group. It's like selling a Rolex for less than a Tudor.Gevril is a nice swiss made watch, but if Gevril isn't careful with it's $3700.00 watches being discounted every day, (Now under $800.00)?They may as well have the Invicta name on them! Which "Invicta" by the way is a fine watch, but no-one really believes that they're discounted hundreds, or thousands of dollars, and you are getting such a wonderful deal. I use to sell Invicta when there was only a handful of Invicta watches to choose from (maybe 20) and none over $300.00 in 2003. Even the Black face Sub, date with Swiss ETA Movement was only $150.00 with a 3 times markup. The Gevril people at least gave their watch a good Movement, a Ruben & Sons MD3G automatic with date and 21 jewels. At least that is made in house, in Switzerland, even though the company Ruben & Sons is of Italian heritage, and not swiss, the factory is in Switzerland. With the new Swiss laws getting more leinent on the import of foreign parts, you won't be able to get a true "ALL SWISS MADE WATCH" by 2017.And the SWISS MADE lettering at the 6 o'clock position won't mean a thing. Too bad really, truly an end of a great era. While I don't mind ETA movements, or Seagull for that matter, there was always something about a hand crafted swiss watch that was something special. The watch gets a four star because the band just won't stay closed, and you can't find a suitable replacement for this watch. I think that Gevril paid to much attention to the watch and not band. If they had just been as meticulous with the band as they were with the watch, it would be much better.UPDATE 7/30/2018 Downgraded to two stars for the following reasons: dial feet broke off the ring that says Grevil, and got stuck in the hands. When opening the back of the watch I removed the 4 screws that I thought held the screw off back in place so I could screw off the back and fix it. Well there is the problem, there is not a screw off back on this watch, it is just held on with the four tiny (and I do mean tiny screws). There is no way this watch is good to 200 meters, and I would say it is not even good to run under a water tap. Do not buy this watch for swiming, diving, scuba, etc... It would never be water tight. This item should be removed from Amazon for the inacurate information the company has listed. Knowing what I do now, and having the back off to fix it myself (I am a Horologist) I cannot in good faith suggest this watch to anyone at any price. If it says Gevril on it, pass it by!!! A good clue would be for the price going from 204.00 to 3700.00?
