I was buying the ingredients separately, but then saw that the company started selling them already mixed together. This saves me some time and space. I just add water to make a paste and use it like shampoo (be aware that it doesn’t suds like regular shampoo). Sometimes I add even more water to make a liquid and dunk my hair in it. Soapnut can be a little drying, so you can dilute this with hibiscus powder or red rose powder: that’s what I do. I use two heaping teaspoons of this and one heaping teaspoon of hibiscus or red rose. I massage it into my scalp thoroughly and rinse well. Conditioner is still needed.

Just loved it. It was a big good surprise. Hair feels much softer and cleaner. I applied lots of coconut oil and skeptical about its cleansing. But wow! This is amazing! I used conditioner afterwards but would like to try without it next time and will make an update. Generally I don’t write reviews but couldn’t stop myself for this one!

Nice product to detox my hair

I have been trying to get away from synthetic shampoo and go natural. I have Dry 4C hair, and I color with henna. I used this product, and it moisturized my dry hair like nothing I have ever tried. For my hair, this was a game changer. Everyone is different. It cleaned and moisturized. I was pleasantly surprised!

Doesn't lather at all . Even after shampooing with it thrice , the hair is still greasy . And after rinsing the product thoroughly from the hair , there is some powdery residue left in your hair .

This shampoo powder is completely different from regular shampoo. It feels very dry and rough while washing, and there’s no foam at all. According to the instructions, you need to use three times more water when rinsing; otherwise, you’ll notice tiny powder flakes falling out when your hair dries. I don’t think I can get used to this so-called natural shampoo powder, so I hope buyers keep this in mind before purchasing.

I was a little leery about using this because I'd never used soap nuts and you have to mix this with water but I was very impressed with the outcome. My hair was clean and soft with no cream rinse and very manageable. I have curly hair and it isn't frizzy either. I will be using this again!
