Bought this to test multiple cat5e cables when redoing my network set up throughout the house. Was surprised to find something so inexpensive so wasn't expecting too much. The tester worked great, though. No issues with the tester itself - did what it needed to do. Network is up and running. Great value if all you need is a device to test your cables. I'd recommend it.

I got this to troubleshoot my coax cables at my house. Seems to work, but the instructions are only really for the Cat 5 cable part of the tester. It indicates a connection but in a confusing way not talked about in the instructions...

Nice product, help me test to verify if my cable between satellite receiver and dish was intact without digging out my old ohm meter and bread tie to test. lol :) Plus it has a nice network cable tester that worked very nice. :)

It does not work. Better to buy a good quality product. Worthless to spend your time and money.

Perfect for tracing coaxial and ethernet cables snaking through house. I wanted to convert coaxial cables to internet usage from my ethernet-cabled router. The central cable/ethernet box in our house was a snake pit of wires; I had no idea which wire went where. This device allowed me in about 15 minutes to sort out the start and end points of the cables in the various rooms of my house. Best 20 bucks I have spent in a while.

Awesome testing tool. Very simple tool that I’ve used to verify LAN cable connections and terminations. Just plug both in and run your test! Helped me find a bad cable in a larger circuit and saved me tons of precious time and materials. Highly recommend!
