For my countertop hydroponic system (I use both AeroGarden and another brand), I got this 7-pod heritage tomato seed package, and so far, everything has worked well. Setup was simple and quick because the pods went into the unit with ease and the labeling was obvious.What first caught my attention about this kit is the variety, a lovely blend of cherry, red, and golden tomatoes, along with Roma and San Marzano. It has both slicing and snacking varieties, which I prefer. The sponges in all seven pods were clean and undamaged, and they were all well-labeled.Several pods began to develop after a few days. Under my grow lights, the pods have grown steadily, and I haven't experienced any problems with mildew or rot. As anticipated, the seedlings are growing leaves and appear healthy.Since there was no plant food included in this package, I used the one that came with my hydroponic system, and it's doing great. It's important to note that while everything else required to get the plants started is included, fertilizers are not if you're new to hydroponics.All things considered, I'm pleased with the variety and quality of the seeds. I'm excited to watch how they develop and yield more because it's been a simple way to begin producing tomatoes indoors. An excellent choice for anyone wishing to experiment with different varieties of heritage tomatoes in their hydroponic system.

This kit came with everything I needed—7 sponges, baskets, domes, plant food, and a great mix of heirloom seeds (tomatoes, jalapeños). It was easy to put together. Everything worked perfectly with my iDOO hydroponic system. Seeds sprouted fast and are growing strong. The sponges are high quality, and the resealable seed bag is a nice touch for saving extras. It also looks really nice! Great value compared to big brand kits. Would definitely buy again. Highly Recommend!

After buying the official Aerogarden seed pods and having them fail and AG not back up their product, I gave these a try and they are practically identical. The pots fit with ease right into my system. I actually prefer these and the gold look instead of the green look AG uses. The gold is more reflective as well and the seed does better as they give added reflectivity. If you want some strong plants you need to get as much light on the plants as you can in addition a fan works well to make the plants strong. For the seeds I am using Baker Creek Heirloom and I’m trying ALBINO BULL NOSE peppers, MICRO TOM tomatoes and TENNIS BALL Lettuce. These are dwarfs and do best if you are not transferring them outside.Overall I like this kit. The seeds are well packed and will be a great addition to my outdoor garden. The pods, fertilizer, domes and golden stickers work great for my heirloom seeds. I will be buying from them again and I appreciate the quality of this product.

Be advised that you have to plant the seed within the pod yourself. It is not a system like others where you just add water, nutrients, and a pod into the machine.

This heirloom tomato seed kit came with everything I needed: sponges, baskets, stickers, plant food and of course the seeds. The seeds germinated well and the plants flowered. A month later and I am harvesting tomatoes! I am so pleased with this kit, I still have lots of seeds left so it will last me a long time.
