Best dinosaur toy I got.
Moveable limbed dinosaurs are the best. But this is the best dinosaur I got in 2022. It’s 2023 and it’s still my favorite.Minor problems.-1. Jaw won’t close unless you hold it.2. Jaw is showing at the sides.3. The leg won’t move that good but I think it’s only me.4. It stands on the tail.Thank you to the creator for making this dinosaur. Update in 2024: I bought a new one and the minor cons were because my old one was really old. New one is holding up very well, although the arm fell off. Would recommend, for children and dinosaur enthusiasts.

Excellent figure but beware the tail on pre-owned ones.
This is a great figure, with excellent paint and articulation, a smaller-scale successor to the Amber line. It's roughly as large as the Amber Velociraptors, and easily as high quality. One caveat: Part of the figure assembly requires plugging in a long, flexible tail part, which is packed alongside the main figure in the tray. This tail part CANNOT be removed again once installed, meaning the figure, when assembled, CANNOT fit back in the packaging again. If you purchase one pre-owned and the previous owner attached the tail, it can't be repackaged intact. I bought a pre-owned Baryonyx and received one with a damaged tail where someone tried to bend it to force it to fit back into the package. The jaw also appears to have been super glued shut, though this may be a factory error. Either way I returned the defective one and purchased a brand new one instead.

Fantastic figure.
Detailed and stunning. Mine came with a loose left shoulder, I don't mind it but there are always quality control issues it seems with these toys. I am extremely gentle with it, the quality seems nice but fragile. I wouldn't recommend play with this and bashing it around. The joints feel a bit soft when turning as well, like it could wear out and be all floppy.

Hammond Collection spares no expense!
Mattel's Hammond Collection is off to an interesting start by having its first medium-sized carnivore being a Baryonyx from Fallen Kingdom rather than a more classic film, but the choice does pay off. Excellent range of articulation for a $20 figure, well-done paint in nearly every spot it should be, and a fantastic (presumably digital) sculpt make for a fantastic display piece, or mild play from older kids. Be wary of the seam around the top of the head, as it can split due to use of the joint behind the head, and in warmer climates keep an eye on the bendy rubber tail. So far, it shouldn't end up deteriorating like some Amber Collection raptor tails apparently did, but you never know.

If a kid likes dinosaurs...
Grandson is a 4yr old dino freak. He opened this one and barely set it down for 3 hours. It was supposed to stay at our house but ended going home with him. He has removed one of the arms and it is broken for good.
